2020 infotainment all the way. It’s clean and crisp with the dash. Just looked glued on like in the refresh. Also the grill on the 2020 looks smoother and clean. The 2021 model it’s like you can see the lines and the inside which makes it look cheap

I got a 2020 xse in early September and I don’t regret it. Initially I was waiting for the 2021 because of the free-floating info system but I’m glad I didn’t do that. It’s like everyone’s trying to do it, every Nissan has too.

I had a 2020 for 3 years, now have a 2024. Both XSE V6 with moonroof. The only difference in options between my two is the 2024 has the NAV system, which includes upgraded sound system, the driver assist package and cooled seats. Driver assist package (including birds eye camera and more sensors) is nice, and the cooled seats are AWESOME in the summer. Comparing the two sound systems, I do not hear any difference, and in 2021 with the new screen they dropped the CD player :( But I hear you can plug in a USB drive with MP3 files, have not tried. And apparently you can stream music from your phone on both, but have never tried. The NAV system map is horrible. The detail of traffic view is much lower than that of Google Maps. Save your $ and don't get NAV. Just plug in your cell phone and put Google Maps on the screen, much better. Even better, get an aftermarket wireless Wifi dongle to pair your phone to the car wireless for Google Maps and other phone apps. The 2021-2024 floating screen is 1" bigger than 2018-2020, so I like that, but I do not like the floating look. With that new screen, they moved the two center air vents down below the screen where they used to be above it. I like them up higher. In the 2021 and up I like the darker, slightly gray interior trim over the chrome-look trim for 2018-2020. That little tray on the left side is a good place to keep a tin of breath mints to grab when stepping out of the car to meet the future Mrs. (or Mr.) :)

Good video. Thank you! I got the 2020 V6 XSE with everything on it. Since I decided to buy new, I wanted to get something I'd be happy with driving until it dies (which will be a looong time)! But yes, I prefer the 2020 media set-in look and the two-tone alloys better. I like that the center vent ports are above rather than below it, and is looks seamless rather than protruding. And did they scrap the cd player? I do like the 2021 trim and the start-up animation of the 21 better. I got the Blue Streak exterior 2-tone with midnight top and blackout package which looks pretty sweet! Thanks again for sharing! Bloomington, IL Sam Leman Toyota customer.

Great video Jeff! I think with the XSE model it would have been nice to see the Hybrid version with the same quad tipped exhaust, the same as the XSE 4 cylinder version. I know I'm splitting hairs but the XSE model otherwise does have quad tipped exhaust. I thin you know what I'm saying. Great video nonetheless! Mark in Iowa.

Yes, Toyota is a good little car, too bad I can't afford to keep one.buying a car isnt a problem it's the money it takes to maintain one. Besides with all my health issues I feel to awful to go anywhere half the time anyway. But I remember the days of long ago when I drove my little Toyota Tercel everywhere, it was the most dependable car I ever had.

Toyota saw the downfall before it happened. For General Motors and Ford sedans. That's why Toyota invested so much 💲 into the Camry. It's 'now' a Great mid sized sedan. Reliability, Reliability, Reliability. With fairly decent take on the pedal. The 4cyl. 2.5 litre engine is as 'Tough as hell' Very slow engine to to develop any sort of engine wear.

I also hate the way the floating tablet looks but it is easier and safer to use because it’s in your line of sight and almost angled toward the driver a little. So I M conflicted. I got the dark grey color and it looks great. Love the safety features

My parents got a 2020 xse v6, wind chill with cockpit red and honestly i'm glad he did. The new 2021 wheels are less complex to manufacture and look cheaper. The horrible tablet screen stuck in the dash is awful and one of the main reasons they got a Camry instead of an ES350. They love their 2020 Camry and i love it too. Its way better than the 2017 ES350 he had. The 2021 trim and wheels seem like manufacturing cost savings tbh. Don't like what they did. Lexus has been doing the same thing. They need to get Akio and the old school LFA people to get more involved.

I agree. I like the 2020 rims with the silver and black and I'd want the option to have 18" because the higher sidewall of the tire makes for a better ride. People are brainwashed into thinking larger rims are cool, but the sidewall of the tire is a huge part of the suspension system. Also like the new safety features on the 2021.

The wireless charging pad is too big my iPhone 11 5.8” or even a bigger one is just moving to the back side and it won’t charge the phone so I had to put something behind so the phone stay in the middle. Toyota please fix it next time.

1.) I like the 2020 grill better (wire mesh pattern and 2020 side vent pattern) the side vents on the 2021 remind me of a fish scale texture. 2.) I like the 2021 Road Side assistance 2.5 better 3.) Wheels ( I like both, but the black and silver look sharper)...what's bad about the gloss black wheels is they are harder to keep shiny and the black scrapes off the on many cars with them because of curbs. 4.) I like the 2021 dashboard with raised screen infotainment center better. As I said before this generation (2018+) Camry is the best and most modern looking Camry in all of Camry's history so far. I hope they continue to keep up the good work. Now my complaints on BOTH....I don't like how Camry still has an analog speedometer! Most of the newer cars are all digital and do not give the glitches of a plastic analog (such as it getting stuck while driving or freezing in cold weather and not working at all). So Corolla XSE has a better dashboard. Also, not a fan of the stitched leather dashboard accents, a dashboard is not supposed to have leather on it and the color they use on the stitching often stands out too much.

hello Jeff, I want to ask you about the remote start which u press 3x lock on camry xse 2020 to start the car. Since I didn't drive it for 3 months and the car battery died, then I had to use jump start to get the car work, but I realized the 3x remote start lock didn't work anymore.Does reset the battery work, if yes how? or i need to bring to Toyota and tell them: "I want to buy a new battery" so it maybe work this way Jeff? I asked 2 dealers of Toyota and they said camry didn't have remote start on MSPR paper. Do you think they were lying? I don't know how to fix or where to get it fixed. I do not understand why on the 4 cylinder engine XSE Camrys they split the single exhaust out of a single catalytic converter into two separate mufflers each with two exhaust tips. Seems like a lot of unnecessary parts, weight and expense. This also makes it so that one cannot visually tell if it is a 4 or 6 cylinder engine. On the other hand, with the V6 it makes sense to do what they have done, which is have two separate exhaust lines all the way to the back, with either quad tips on XSE and XLE, or single tips on the TRD.
