The Camry looks more modern than the Corolla this time, usually it's the other way around! Now if they STOPPED making the Camry's and Corolla's bigger each generation I would be happy. The newer Corolla is the same size as a Camry from 15 years ago, the new Camry is the size of an old Avalon. This generation Camry is my favorite model they have, especially the XSE trim. I just don't want it to get any bigger. I'm also glad they finally added a digital speedometer dashboard! even if it's not a fully digital display like on many newer cars it is better than no digital speedometer at all.

Everyone is hating on the floating center screen in the 2021 model but that’s how they were able to give it a 9” screen in the center, the middle air vents are closer to the driver & front passenger, & an easier to read center screen. If you get the 9” screen it would look its best lol. The SE is a mid-level trim so it has less equipment than an XLE or XSE

At first I was blown away by the 2021-2024 front end but have gone back to liking the 2018-2020 front end design. I also like the older embedded touch screen over the new floating tablet touch screen. I do prefer the wheels on the 2021-2024 SE over the older ones. I forget which year they came along (after 2021?) but prefer the dual climate control and the drive mode buttons (Eco/Norm/Sport) on the newer SE. I have a 2019 SE (which also doesn't have Android Auto) and would like some of the upgrades but it's not worth trading it in to get them. It's good enough.

I love the design of the "older" Camry already but the new facelift makes it stand out a little bit more if you look close to it. I also like the darker rear lights it gives the rear a better look in my opinion. Thank you for the great video Jeff.

I like the ‘21 wheels and floating screen better (less glare? but could be bigger). Rear diffuser should be flat black and I wish they’d cover the left exhaust tip outlet for the SE so it doesn’t look like something is missing.

Thanks, for the comparison video! The floating display is kind of Tesla-ish. And, to be honest, I've never been crazy about the big square display in the Teslas. But, I will say that I LOVE my new 2021 Camry SE - just like the one in this video, except mine has the upgraded blind spot side mirrors, a sun roof, tinted windows, and two Quick Charge USB ports in the back of the center console facing the rear seats. I would have liked to have an auto-dimming rear view mirror with a built in compass. But, I'm happy enough without that. The extra options on mine bumped the bottom line sticker price up to $28,402.00. Purchased on 8/27/2021.

I like the 2020 camry with 8 inch infotainment system that has a CD player! It looks sleeker than the floating screen. For 2021, it seems they just covered the air vents with a plastic and stuck a tablet there.

2021 i fotainment screen really looks afternarket.. they must hv at least removed off the cutout for the previous Gen AC vents behind the screen.. that screen could hv very well fitted into the dash..

Its the super white, Its the white/grayish leather, black badges, all weather mats. 1 owner certified only 13k miles. Super super well taken care off. Bumper to bumper warranty 12 months or 12k miles. Powertrain 100k miles or 7 years. I like it . Comfy, nice decent style and GREAT on gas. !!! Good car for my little fam.

Even with low miles under 30k miles it shouldnt be over $30k sticker price.. should be anywere from $25k-$28k. Also i suggest buying at a bigger dealer like toyota. Those smaller dealers always add extra weird stuff. First time i buy at toyota and let me tell you it was a different experience. No added dealer crap fees, extended warranties all that bull crap. Honestly i don't like the 2021 it's basically the same as the 2020 just with a wired tablet glued on the dash lol. I have the 2020 nightshade and it's a beauty. Definitely recommend it if you can get it :)

The non functional vents on the facia are bigger on the 2021. At least that's a smaller, easier to apply section of PPF. The subtle mid model refreshes on a Toyota always look better...

Some wasted opportunities here… I like how much detailed info I got on the front facade grill and safety features. But key interior upgrades and design deserves usability analysis. For example, how does the raised screen impact driver distraction since typically a raised screen also means driver has to reach a further distance in order to touch and use the functions. It’s also less pleasing to the eye imo. Just more glossy black stuff to be all up in your face really.

@@tuoitreomaha9096 Many people say the transmission sometimes a little unresponsive or laggy/hesitation when you try to accelerate fast. I have a Camry 2018 XSE and sometimes I do experience it. Yet, if you buy an iDrive or pedal commander (throttle controller), it can help to reduce that laggy responsiveness from the transmission. You can try it yourself, one drive isn't enough, you may need to drive it multiple times to notice them. It's a little nuisance, but I have iDrive so it helps a lot! This is why some people don't like the new Camry just because of this trans issue.

On the SE it's part of the "Cold Weather Package" which also includes heated seats and mirrors. For 2021 it's now available on the FWD models.

I have a question about the hood for Camry hybrids versus Camry non-hybrids. It seems the hybrids don't have hood hydraulic struts, but use prop rods instead. Is this true? If so, why is that? And is it simple to make your own mod and install it yourself? Thanks.
