Sienna would be a decent choice if they didn't come with a 10K markeup 🤡 Hybrid saves on gas sure but higher MSRP + 10K, I guess if you drive the Sienna for 10 years you'll break even and start saving!😂 Odyssey drives & looks better too. My wife had a Sienna, it was time to upgrade, but we are not going to pay some ridiculous mark-up. I already have a hard time considering MSRP! So went to a local Honda, test drove the Elite, loved it , and walked out with a brand-new 2024 Odyssey Elite for 3K BELOW MSRP. ✌️ Toyota, get your 💩 together, because you're losing customers & market share.

Find a dealer that sells at MSRP, I got offered a 2024 model that will arrive in a couple months with 0 markup and minimal add-ons. The catch is you will probably need to put yourself on a waitlist. I got on it 9 months ago when my wife was 1 month pregnant.

…Got a sienna close to MSRP. They had me $3k worth of add ons I didn’t want I didn’t want (had to get infotainment screen to get 1500Watt /120 volt inverter). 9 month wait USA in Florida year 2023. Jan 2023 to October 2023. Actually turned it down because of the difficulties of keeping all tires same circumference with AWD. Reordered a FWD 2024. Still waiting

I'll replace my 2011 Limited Sienna, when Toyota decides to add Toyota Sense 3.0. It's been 3 years, and there's no reason why the Sienna has not been upgraded with the rest of Toyota's lineup.

I inquired at my local Toyota dealership and was told it would be a 2 year wait for the Sienna or pay $20k above MSRP for a used one. The Honda dealers have Odyssey's sitting on the lot that I can buy today without mark-up. The Sienna may be great, but if it is not available, it does not matter.

Odessey has a more flexible interior and can be had without a wait or a markup. The initial cost difference is so much between the two with the markups and the Odessey being available at a discount that you’ll never make up the difference in fuel savings.

The non removable two place second row in the Toyota is a major let down for minivan practicality versus the three place Honda setup where all seats are removable and you can slide them side to side.

Really wish the strengths of the two could be combined. The Odyssey has a more flexible interior with 8 seats in all trim and a removable middle row for far superior max cargo room and the Toyota has a much more efficient powertrain. Combine the true and you'd have the perfect van. Both are badly in need of an infotainment upgrade so it'd be nice to throw in the Kia infotainment too.

Sorry Toyota but the Odyssey is just a better vehicle overall. Not to mention this is a biased comparison. The Sienna may have better fuel economy due to it being a hybrid, but the odyssey is just so much more usable. And not to mention better to drive by far. You guys are a great brand and make virtually indestructible cars, but something you lack compared to Honda is knowing how to make a car that is fun to drive, whether it's a sports oriented car or not. I have never been in a Honda that isn't fun to drive. But all Toyotas I have driven (including new models) just feel dull and unexciting. They don't feel like they want to be driven. I understand that something like that is hard to achieve, but surely the biggest car manufacturer in the world is capable of it. For example, the GR Corolla. When you get into it, it doesn't feel special. It has the same cheap materials and feeling as a normal corolla. It certainly does not justify the asking price, even before markups. That is not the case with something like the Civic Type R, or dare I say even the Elantra N. It's just not up to par compared to the competition. The only model in your lineup that is remotely fun to drive is the supra, but that's because it's not a Toyota. Sorry about the rant, but like step up your game before you fall behind.
