I really wish that the chase variant was them without the video game shading, or better yet the chase variant being the pixilated variant. I think they would’ve sold much better that way across the board

@ That’s fair, but also I think a lot of people saw this as a chance for a definitive mainstream Justice League (90s) wave release with the updated body bucks for every character. Especially with those cloth capes, updated articulation, new color pallets, and heads sculpts (although not great). Again it’s fair to say that would be boring but I can’t help but think it would’ve worked for a good chase variant. Great vid btw Shiz and just checked out those new Jada figures. You’ve definitely inspired me to start collecting that line, thanks.

Sort of interesting that McFarlane choose this particular old af game to make action figures from. Though I kinda dig the game style "cell shading".. since all 3 of my area GameStops are useless I never saw these or the "sale". I almost want that Batman because he is a bit "different" from what we have gotten so far, but he does need "accessories". Plus, those Superman and Aquaman head sculpts are just weird. And why does Aquaman's Trident look all bent and garbage, could they not do better? Will wait till you review the McFarlane "Platinum edition" versions of these. Thanks for the information. 😊

100%correct. I love Mcfarlane toys, but he's been putting out some garbage toys that nobody cares about. If it wasn't because of the BAF this wave will be a waste.

This darkseid is cool BUT I had to buy two of the Batman figures because one of the arms snapped off inside the torso and it was a pain to get the broken ball joint out, luckily GameStop had like four of this Batman so I just picked up another Batman and the second one doesn’t have the issue so I think it was just a fluke

couldn't they have dropped the Batman or Flash and did Wonder woman? we have so many similar versions of these figure and so few of the classic Wonder Woman. hell, Maybe replace one of them with Cheetah or Desparo? Add something new to the mcfarlane line.

You can take Batman out of Todd DC (Batman) Multiverse. Also Flash is great and we need another Wally West Flash. Also Todd doesn't really like to make female figure. He has said men don't buy female figures (which is wrong)

Which is why I’m not sure why people are desperate to get Todd McFarlane to acquire the marvel license. I don’t want him anywhere near Marvel that guy doesn’t have a rhyme or reason on how he releases figures or their waves We would been waiting five years to get a Jean Grey/The Phoenix and we will be waiting forever to get a Scarlett witch figure while getting 2000 figures of Spider-Man and Wolverine per month Yeah no thanks

Watched it and great review as always sir!! The Darseid BAF is the best thing from the entire collection and Batman is a close second!!! But Superman and Aquaman uh nah I'm good!!! Oh yeah and the Flash yeah he was cool!!!

Of all the weird lines out there, this one is just a head scratcher. The games themselves, while not as bad as some might say (the SNES version in particular is at least playable), today would be pretty damn obscure. They got some pretty negative reviews back then. It's kind of like releasing a line of Brutal Paws of Fury figures.

I’m so glad I got out and they haven’t pulled me back in!!! The day I used a Multiverse buck to make a custom and saw the gusts and the true quality of these figures, I threw in the towel!!!

Every year Mcfarlane's DC Multiverse has become trash. Only 2 figures (or 3) attract attention. The rest is just repaints and bad sculptures.

Thoughts: 1- The game was AWFUL...and I´m a DC fan. I think I rented it once and barely played it. 2- Don´t get why not include (mainly) Green Arrow and Wonder Woman. More so, when the figures that are already available of those characers look almost identical to the game. 3- They could finish the entire rooster. We are talking 4 figures more and out of those 2 already have figures as said. Plus, it´s not like McFarlane has done a Variant prior to the regular release. I say that for Cheetah for instance. He could have made the game version with the pixelated look and then release her again on a normal look down the line. That´s how he did Alan Scott (GL) and, maybe, Jay Garrick (Flash) as well. First came the GL from another Universe that became evil and after Rival. ...and yes, McFarlane has to make do with Darkseid. But I´m BEYOND tired of DC and Darkseid. I´ve never liked him for starters and I´m sick of him being, basically, the only main bad guy in DC. He isn´t! McFarlane should have done Despero instead. 4-Love that the pixelated look does look SNES and not NES.
