Nice g2 grimlock. I had a purge at one time too, but now I’m happy to get the newage stuff or whatever, and much better Masterpiece toys. I had a g2 slag toy, green, in my hand New Year’s Eve 1999 and the police had me put it down and they fully examined it before letting me go… downtown San Francisco. I also got the hand painted g1 decoy slag, painted in g2 colors as a gift at the Botcon ‘97 Friday night dinner.

Man I’m actually glad I didn’t go. Even though I already have a SS86 Optimus, I ordered one just to keep in box but BBTS was ridiculously SLOW on delivery & I didn’t get it til today but I wanted to go to TF Con & get Peter Cullen to sign it but then I heard that he didn’t go so no “biggie” here. I guess I could have had Frank Welker sign my “Decepticon Dramatic Capture Series Nemesis Bridge” set I have that’s unopened but that really just blew over my mind.

Yeah, though they did put on the schedule the panel with 5 KZbinrs. Once in a while, a con will have a KZbinr as a guest. But I don't know if TF Con will go that route.

Nice haul there. It's sad to hear about a collection purge, but cool that you are getting some of it back. Oh cool, I have Pipes and Tailgate from a box of Transformers I bought for $20 back in the early 2000s or so. The first thing I noticed is Tailgate is missing his grill! Ouch! Definitely not an upgrade!
