you know, this is a great example of two of the first things they teach you in Plastic Model Kit school: 1) always mask pegs and tabs before painting 2) If you can't do step 1, shave them down before/after painting.

Finally got Shattered Glass Jetfire!!! This is the first time I have handled the mould and it is pretty awesome. Only real complaint is that the gun is really wobbly in his hands because of the hands being weird but I prefer the attack drone anyway. Only got Goldbug left, at he was suppose to be out in October, before Jetfire. The place I ordered mine from seems to be the last one to get it as in now has Jetfire instock while other places have had both jetfire and goldbug in. I do hope the QC on Goldbug is like my Bugbite as that thing honestly could be one of my favorite figures with how solid and nice it feels. Only time will tell.

Imagine if this was the first one you pulled out. You pull it out, start messing with it, and you realize that while the paint on the tabs is a bit much, it’s still an acceptable figure, and you’re happy with your purchase. this combiner set is a good example of too mush paint is just as bad if not worst than applying stickers. I already didn't wanted this set before due to the to all the paint. So far the construction combiners I'll stick with is my set of the original RID construction crew that I have.

Huh. So at least in the looks department, Toyworld did something better than Generation Toy/Jinbao. The only things about the GT/JB Hook that I like are: the head STILL LOOKS LIKE HOOK despite the boxy Soundwave styling, and the crane arm is removable and can fold...I think that the removable part is also a Studio OX inspiration, as the Maketoys Devy did it too...basically, Devy uses Hooks crane arm as a bigass beatstick. And ohhh boy...speaking of difficult to get out, the GT/JB Combiner ports are on ratchets that are a complete pain to get out. Worse yet, you have to have gotten them out before completing Hook's transformation into the upper torso. I could go on and on about the dumb design decisions, but I won't.

This entire set is actually made out of paint and paint alone. There is not one molecule of plastic on the combined accumulative total of all 6 figures, just paint.

But were able to turn the tide and made laugh complaining about Mix Master, when his head Broke off... I bust in laughter... This is just ridiculous... This is THAT BAD?!!! Yeah... It is THAT BAD!!! Well the paint is incredibly good, they just didn't bother masking the things that they needed to mask. And to be fairer Devastater is a design that kind of requires partsforming. Like the show cheated incredibly hard with his design. But yes overall this whole thing is insanely underwhelming.

@@PerspectiveEnd I think both T30 & WFC could had taken a que from the OG Rhinox in terms of the lower legs being more simple & tried doing the skirt more fully (IE not just the sides but the butt as well). Orgins Bee & WFC Rhinox are both shellforming heavy. The Bee is smarter with not overstuffing any one area too much like Rhinox's lower legs & recognizes it bettter to have intended coming off parts than parts that feel like they shall break like Rhinox's lower legs.

I feel awful that you spent all that money on a shit set. Like I said the NBK gravity builder ko is decent and has less flaws. The undersized combiner wars devy ko is good to but individual bots can be a little floppy but with polish it can be fixed and it's solid in combined mode. The only thing I like about this toyworld set is the paint.

I wanna give toy world some forgiveness but if you don't like the parts forming get combiner wars devastor AND YOU KNOW HOW THAT TURNED OUT horrible porportain long haul is chunky really weak scrapers thin peg and the head is accurate to season 1 G1 or season 2 which ever one with the flat head but stylized
