Hi. Great review, I can't wait to get the deluxe edition in a couple of months. There're some good tips for this guy in the TFW2005 forum. Stuff about tabbing in the chest more securely and clipping on the head further back, so it stays on and the neck details line up properly.

I'd love to see you do a comparo between these 4 figures for a figure shoot out.. There are basically 4 different versions of this figure all competing for your dollar. 1.3 zero- Best sculpt but doesn't transform. 2. Weijang- Just an oversized KO of the original Hasbro Studio series. Perfect if you just want the Hasbro version just bigger. 3. Aoyi Mech- LS13 OP Commander. A split between Weijang and Freedom Leader. Has a more traditional G1 gun, a more realistic and proper sized axe, 2 different light up heads, light up gun, light up axe. Better transformation process. Negative: Has a rinky dinky sized Matrix of leadership that looks like it belongs in a Hasbro deluxe figure. Needs a dark and or a rust wash to compete with the Toyworlds version and if you put the Autobot emblem on his arm in robot mode its upside down in truck mode. 4. Toy World- Freedom Leader/Tactics Waist Coat. A price no option version that is either expensive or very expensive. Better sculpt than the Aoyi Mech (But ONLY if you put them side by side.) And not as good as 3 zero. More bells and whistles but too many bells and whistles. Usless extra hands, useless but cool large sniper rifle, boxes that have no real purpose than storage and looking cool. All those body panels that you can swap out. Who isn't going to pick their favorite mode and throw that other stuff in one of those other boxes never to see the light of day? And that double shield is too large and honestly look like they belong to a giant WFC Grimlock. Best deal is the Aoyi Mech. A proper axe that lights up that he holds perfectly, a closer to G1 gun that he holds perfectly, transforms better and figure isn't as floppy. Honestly the best of the bunch. It cost between $58 to $90.00 or 1/3 the price of the Toy World version! I got the deluxe version on early pre-order and I'm canceling it. The Aoyi Mech is just too close to the Toyworld version for Soooooo much less!

So I actually sold the toyworld version and don't own any of the others. That would be a very expensive endeavor to compare unless they were sent to me. Probably not going to happen, but I like the idea.

Figure looks gorgeous but the transformation is annoying and has a bad chest clearance issue, mine broke first time transforming because of that. For 250 wish they added hinges to fix it but other than that it’s pretty good(hands are kinda loose tho).

I bet you would say the same for Revenge of the Fallen Leader Class Optimus Prime, or any other transformers figures which have complex transformations. Just because you can't transform it, that doesn't make it bad. You should look for one-step changers made for 3 year olds, dumbass.

@@comicguy4417 Why you being a Dick? I clearly said “I’ve ever got” so it my PERSONAL experience, it’s not a bad figure but the minor issues it has should’ve been fixed before release. And yeah the chest has a bad clearance issue watch any review on it and they say the same thing. I love complex transformations but they don’t have to be devoid of fun. Example UT Dragoon and Challenger, I have the WJ BA prime which is a gorgeous figure with a complex transformation and I love that figure. This one isn’t even that complex the transformation is just annoying that you have to fiddle with it so much. I may have been harsh on it but when I pay 250 I expect there to be less problems😂 I’ve never seen someone annoyed I broke my own figure lol you got issues kid.

Great review. I hated seeing the side panel stick out in truck mode. You see it even in some promo pics. By clearing some material in the tab you've essentially fixed that problem. Wei Jiang's new version, the legs part look better in truck mode, but hands down Toy World's robot mode looks awesome for a transforming bot. Hmm I can find one 2nd hand barely used, but i'm still on the fence about this one. It's not cheap and I already have threeZero's DLX prime. Nothing beats that in robot form. I buy transformers also for their engineering, and this one stuns me how well it balances between truck and robot and still be quite screen accurate. If I weren't looking at some Hot Toys figures I'd get this in a heartbeat haha.

Got mine today. This figure is a huge pain in the ass out of the box. Chest doesn't tab together at all, the cybertronian wheel covers are impossible to remove, the wrists are floppy and useless (tiny ball joint on a huge arm), the face plate sags down half the time, and all the extra accessories are of no interest to me. I'll be selling mine soon.

RE: contacting TW-F09 freedom leader manufacture Greetings TMReviws, et al: I need help contacting the manufacturer for my TW-F09 Optimus Prime because I accidentally damaged during my first transformation attempt. I purchased my TW-F09 directly from a hong kong store front, but they said that they do not do repairs. I accidentally damaged the left and the right hip skirt plastic parts held in with a hinge pin where the guns can tab-in for robot mode storage, and are required to tab-in the stomach torso half to keep it from moving in truck mode. Please if you can direct me to someone who could sell me some extra side skirt left and right hip-holding skirt plastic parts? The second swivel pin in that connection is fine, I only need the outer clip holding skirts that are sadly broken. Do you know who I can contact? Am I asking in the correct place? Usually after sales service comes from the distributor you purchased from. If you purchased from eBay it is unlikely they will support after sales service.
