Mine are arriving today…$119 on Amazon right now. I’ve seen too many good reviews on these to pass them up, especially at that price. I just gave my Soundcore Liberty 4 NCs to my daughter. I’ll let you know what I think after I try them out for a little bit.

So I tried out the TOZO X1s and, unfortunately, because of a couple of issues that I could not live with, I had to send them back. For me they were too bulky to get a decent seal & fit. The other major issue was the excessive treble & the wild swings in tonality when in different noise reduction modes. I opted for the JBL tour pro two and I am pretty thrilled with them so far. Yes they are more expensive, but the app has just about everything you could ask for and more and the quality of the sound is superior to anything that I have tried thus far. Anyway, I hope that is useful.

Any plans on reviewing the new Earfun Free Pro 3 that recently dropped? I really enjoy using them for a long time bcuz of how small they are to go along with the sound quality. Solid option for those on a budget and still want good solid earbuds

These seem great for side sleepers and extended use because of their small footprint . But the Small 7mm driver and sub tier anc means these aren’t for me. Unless size is the driving factor I recommend saving up a couple more $$ for the Tozo Golden X1.

@Fredo.heavyy the driver size really isn't a factor if they're tuned good. The Free Pros are capable of sounding however you like with their 10 band fully customizable EQ. A example of the driver size would be Senheiser, as they use smaller drivers as well.

Mine arrived yesterday and are great. 2 issues I’ve noticed is ANC performance affects sound quality dramatically so when ANC is off, sound quality drops off a cliff. Other issue I’m having is the EQ rests to default each time I remove them which is very annoying. I’ve tried to contact tozo about this but no response. Another great video, keep up the videos!

What firmware are your buds on and what kinda device you using? I had the EQ reset issue but no longer after software update. Also I test all these buds with ANC + Transparency mode off when doing “sound quality” test. Think that gives more authentic results. I saw a few Amazon comments of user saying sound went down but never experienced in any mode and couldn’t find any specific examples of “how it dropped” To be fair there might be two version of these floating around (just a theory) mines and a big box version (seen by other reviews) which did you get?

@@Fredo.heavyy thank you. Mine is running V3.1.3 and I’m using an iPhone 15 pro. Mine appears to be to look like the same box as yours. The drop when ANC is huge so have had to create a dedicated EQ for using it with and without ANC. This doesn’t help when the EQ resets each time though 🤨 Disappointing to not had had a response from TOZO on the issue. Don’t want to but might have to return them

Did you try contacting them via the app? I've purchased multiple pairs of Tozo's from their eBay store, and they have always got back to me really fast with any issues I've had with any of their buds.

Superb videos. Have been watching a lot of your stuff recently. One thing I can’t seem to find an answer to is the tips. Do they have some kind of mesh to prevent wax getting into actual tips? I have quite dry waxy ears and I am always cleaning out wax from my Airpods Pro 2 but luckily they have mesh in them.

Do the earbuds get loud? Because i bought some tozo nc9 because just like this video on youtube there were some great reviews. But even with the volume all the way up it was just too low.. so im kinda hesistant on the tozo brands. Can these earbuds get loud? I ended up returning the tozo nc9 after one day. Because the volume was too soft even with the volume all the way up.

Have tested the Tozo golden X1 against all other major brands (Sony, Bose, Apple, Technics etc) volume doesn’t disappoint and once EQ someone of the best Bass. Hate to admit it but I reach for these over (XM5 or AZ80) only the Status Between 3ANC sound slightly better but Status are chunky. Tozo golden X1 has best balance of size, sound function, and price.

Have only heard bad things about the Marshall Motif 2, wish it wasn’t so. Grab the Tozo Golden X1! some of the best sound + EQ options, amazing ANC, comfortable and can’t beat the price

Hey Brian, I have both the X1 and the NC7 and they both have their pros and cons. The X1 is definitely superior as far as sound, especially if you subscribe to a premium / High Fidelity music streaming service like Tidal for example. The difference is clear because of the LDAC. I also find the mic better on these than the NC7s. So I use them with that in mind at home, when in work mode for calls, or relaxing with my music. For gym / running on my trails / or even just walking around town, I personally find the NC7s better - mainly because of their smaller size, battery life (which is MUCH longer) and because they provide me with a tighter overall fit. The X1s obviously also have other benefits which you can see in their feature set, but it comes down to the features you deem important and worthy of the extra bucks. Hope it helps.

You’d think it be a tough decision… Tozo Golden X1 have better EQ options over the AZ80. Combined with better IP rating, larger 12mm driver and its half the cost at $130ish Tozo golden X1 is better bang for buck

I like them too, but better Sound than the Sennheisers? That’s a bit overstated for me. And what is very annoying is the serious sound shift when switching from normal to anc mode and also that the buds always start in normal mode when I take them out of the case, so I have to switch manually to anc every single time.

Haven’t been lucky enough to experience those issue with Tozo X1. I’m gonna be honest I tend to forget the Sennheisers exist, any positive mark in sound quality are over shadowed by the awful transparency mode. The high level of white noise make them next to un-usable for me here in NYC.
