Good Explanation. i go for RE650 as it covers 14000 Sqft . Cons doesn't matter as it only says about blocking of other poweroutlets. 👌

Bought both on amazon. Returned re650. Re450 can receive router signal further away from router on both 2.4 and 5g bands and also cheaper.

Then I set up the 3 RE450 as access points, it worked even better. Though I have add TP Link powerline adapters.

En Sevilla, España, tenemos días en julio de hasta 45º centigrados, 113 farenheit, el rango de trabajo del RE 450 es de 30º centigrados como máximo, 86 farenheit y el del RE 650 es de 40º centigrados, 104 en la escala farenheit. Yo tuve el RE 450 y tuve que devolverlo por que en la habitación que estaba ubicado no tenía aire acondicionado y superaba con mucho los 40º centigrados en verano y entonces se desconectaba o bajaba de velocidad a prácticamente hacerlo inacsesible y tuve que devolverlo. Me gustaría saber como se desenvuelven estos extensores de wifi en condiciones extremas. Hola Eduardo. Yo igual tuve varios problemas al elegir un dispositivo. Opté por un PLC en vez de un Range extender ya que preferí eliminar por completo el factor clima en la pérdida de señal y de calidad. Un saludo

Tuve un problema eléctrico por derivación externa y hasta que Endesa e dignó a identificar y aislar pasaron años y en ese periplo pasé de tener un diferencial y cuatro térmicos a dos diferenciales y 12 térmicos, separé practicamente todos los circuitos y aislé la estancias con lo que los plc no me van en el mismo circuito

I’m moving house and I can only get 10mbps. Can you explain to me how this works in a way a person who has no idea how this works would understand. Does this just appear in my Wi-Fi menu now and when I’m setting up my tv or Xbox for example I select this from the menu rather than the router ?

bought the RE450 recently , I found that if you adjust the 2 side aerials so they are horizontal you get a faster speed ....

I think the RE 650 wifi extender is better than the RE 450 because the RE 650 has a by far a better wide WIFI range of 14,000 Square foot so has got to be better than RE 450 which has a WIFI range of 10,000 square foot the higher number of wifi range has got to be better range & more faster

nothing is reality. You cannot make a device that covers exactly 10000 f2, you should check the quality of the antenna signal fading, which is more or less for the two models. Moreover, the signal fades significantly adter 30 ft

This thing is so annoying. First of all I can only get it to extend to just me.. everyone one else on my wifi doesn’t get the extra speeds so i know the extender isn’t going to them only me. Also, it shares the same network name so I can’t manually switch back to normal wifi when i’m closer to my actual router and it doesn’t switch for me half the time
