Thank you for your recommendation! I have a lot of thermoPro and govee cheap ones, but they tend to be not durable and inaccurate, losing the point of a hygrometer. I use INKBIRD’s new product this year, IBS-TH5, an innovative product, the most accurate real sensor from Switzerland, an ink screen and WiFi, and a hygrometer. Yes, that's my suggestion. It's a little pricey, but totally worth it.

With the P110 and P115 data is saved weird. The longer you go back the more coarse it is. Is it the same with this sensor aswell? Like for the past 24 hours its every 5 minutes, for the past month hourly and for the past year only monthly.

I have one unit and I suspect this product doesn't give accurate readings. It seems to be off by at least 2 degrees celcius higher than the actual room temperature.

To date I have been using TAPO products such as camera and plug connected to WIFI and not needing a Hub, really a shame this needs a Hub

The hubs quiet inexpensive so honestly it’s not too much of a pain point

@@rachaelt8729 but it has no apparent reason to be, if you can connect the camera and plug directly to wifi, why does this need a hub? It feels unnecessary and adds complexity for an excuse to make a bit more money .

​@@TheBlackadder-EdmundTapo hubs use low power protocol, sub 1 ghz freq to reduce the energy cost of battery powered Tapo devices. You'll find that all battery powered Tapo devices must connect to a hub while all non battery powered Tapo devices connect directly to the router since they don't need to save energy.

@@Dani-zg7fr fair point, thank you. I was envisaging the home meter to just be connected to a 5v charger constantly (for my set-up that would be best as the location is not visited often). I understand the use case you clarify, although I would still prefer the house meter to connect to cloud via wifi as the camera and plugs 😅. Thanks again for the clarification.
