Soo good! it is amazing what those big rigs take but you must have built them well and mainly land well with them skills as have seen many others break em and say how easy it is to do when so heavy... I finally got some good weather, went out with my go pro and was all set, then a mum walking past on her phone was happy to let her kid lay down all over the track.. should have scared them off with a massive thud nearby but wouln't wanna risk hurting anyone. Went out the next morning and my gopro battery was dead :( .. then a sketchy looking rear outdrive finally went on a landing so ordered some gpm ones which claim to be harder than stock and were cheaper too..al ready for more power... at least it was the last diff I had left, to rebuild with thicker oil :).. was supposed to be my last run on old motor to have a comparison video but just want to get that new setup in there now that I have it :) ..... got 5 pack of pinions to mess with on the way too as almost got a 21 then realised I wasn't Aldo lol and found others were using 19 and 20 so I'm good from 18-22.

Thanks so much Bradlei i’ve had my share of issues with the 8S rigs but once I got them built to my liking they seem to hold up pretty well besides some minor electronic issues I am going to go back to the stock arms I’m just tired of bending shocks that’s one of the reasons I stopped running them as much as I used to I like to run Rc’s that have minimal damage a broken cup from time to time I can live with a shock rod end I can live with but $100 part start failing that’s a different story all right brother well good luck with everything you got going on there Gear up brother gear up😂🚀💪👍

Great bash as always Aldo! Love the workshop and the selection of rigs.. got a question for you about the new style badlands 5.7 you are running. Have you been cracking the rims at all? Man, I've cracked all 4 of the first set within a month. Got them replaced through horizon. Now 3 of the new set are cracked in the same place. Got maybe 5 packs on them. Thank you buddy I really don’t know what went wrong I’m at a loss everything looks good on both connectors the one QS8 on the Lipo it was completely burned up on the inside of the bullet Musta had a bad connection but I can’t be sure I’m gonna try changing the connectors out and run it again and see what happens never had an issue with those at all🤷‍♂️👊👊

@@AldoLoyal I had the same problem smoked connections!. Someone with the same experience said that the connectors just comes lose and not all the way in! Try zip tying the connectors and see what happens!

Great video man but question for you. I also have a Max5 and a TP 1270kv geared 26/39 it runs awesome except when I hit wot, it slows down and limited power. Then I lay off the throttle for a second and it lets me wot again but then it does the same thing. I have GCRC Maximus fans on the motor and esc so temps are low. What do you think? I’m not sure on that one never had that issue. I do know the TP motors work better with castle ESC‘s I don’t run a max five with a TP motor anymore. Too much cogging. Thanks my friend. Hope you get it figured out.

I think the TP motor is a lot more powerful but the magnets are so strong it works as a break when you let off the throttle so that really did not work for me flying them like I do I would let off the throttle in the air and it would work like a break and Roll me over I think they’re more speed runner type motors

This is the EXB it comes with two Spur gears I’m not sure what the one that is installed stock is but the optional spur is a 39t and that’s what I’m running.

I guess you could look at it in a couple different ways. Castle motors are awesome but I have smoked them froze them up from overheating them. TP motors are awesome as well. They do run hotter, but I have yet to blow a TP motor. I’ve had them over 300°, and nothing happened to them From a performance standard, you can’t really tell a difference at least doing what I do with them you can’t the main reason I run them is it’s different not too many people run them, and I like the looks of them
