I have said it for 3 years now. Jack and JT play the same exact position, but they play them both together. This means the best edge pass rusher is hardly ever on the field. He kept talking about how frustrated Jack and Cody were with the Refs don’t calling holding on Oregon’s OL. It’s like an underlying issue that Refs let our defense get held. What was Day's plan to WIN the game with 1st down at the Oregon 28 with under 20 seconds left in the game? There is a serious question as to Ryan Days ability to lead men and effectively communicate his game plan or get his players to execute in critical moments when playing teams with equal or superior talent and coaching skill.

Did everyone forget the Chris Ash or Kerry Coombs era? The defense has improved A LOT. The offense looked tentative and passive. It relies way too much on finesse running and screen passes. The fumble, PI, and dropped snap all happened on offense. If just 1 of those 3 plays didn’t happen, OSU likely wins. The biggest mistake on D was not playing deep safeties. If I could tell where to throw the ball, I’m pretty sure Dillon Gabriel could too.

A lot of noise in this commentary in my opinion. The Buckeye's issues for the last 3 years have started and stopped on the line of scrimmage, on both sides of the ball. While the pass protection has improved over last year our lineman are in the habit of surrendering leverage early and often by letting the opposition get into their bodies and under their pads. Fundamentals have been poor for quite a while.

The last time I remember a 4-3 team that could stop the run AND get consistent pressure with only their front was 2016 Clemson who had Christian Wilkins, Clelin Ferrell, Carlos Watkins, and Dexter Lawrence. I really like our guys, but they ain't THAT! There is either a disconnect or a high level of delusion within the defensive coaching staff of Ohio State. It may be time to switch to a 3-3-5 and allow Jim Knowles to do what he wants to do and implement the 'Jack'. Go BUCKS!🅾🌰🏈

We are not gonna win the national championship this year sorry to break it to Buckeye Nation. We have no offensive and defensive line. Expect for us to lose another game, maybe two.

There's a possibility we drop one more but o think there's a good chance we win it all. Even with how bad it was Saturday if that PI isn't called we win on a FG and if the loophole wasn't allowed we have the time to march down a little more and kick for the win again. There's the chance we miss the FG but not likely so would you feel the same had we won a last second FG?
