I went on TPE on Monday whilst visiting Manchester from Sheffield. I gotten two advance 1st class tickets for only £13.40. The price was low due to me buying the tickets over a month in advance and Manchester is quite close to Sheffield. Only 50+ minutes away.

This is a reverse situation to e.g. London Underground lines except Central's modernised trainsets and Piccadilly, where, in case of latter, it's announced completely by Julie Berry, the same voice as voice of Southern, in which male voice is main voice and female voice is used to additional announcements like "See it, say it, sorted" one, "Mind the gap", etc.

There’s no announcement on them until Huddersfield unless it’s been updated

@@LokiAvivson yeah I believe up until mirfield there’s no automatic announcement, I haven’t used the service for a while though but I will let you know when I next use the service :)

AWC don't run glasgow trains via Birmingham as far as I'm aware, I believe its only the Edinburgh trains that go there
