Only a certain type of individual/personality type would come on these type of shows. In most places you'd get similar results. The setting of the cameras and being around other people MUCH a bigger part. Dude in the yellow shirt would have at least got the number/social media of the server in the all black outfit if they were 1 on 1.

The women would past the eye test but that's where it would stop. Even with normal in person dating events there's always more women than men. The ratio will always be off in one way or another.
