In the opening when Rod was calling contestants to "Come on Down", the bottom left screen showed that episode was recorded in September 1986, so that means this episode must of aired in late October-November 1986.

I miss the old zoom in effect of the TPiR logo. I like how the logo slides in on Drew's episodes, but that gradual zoom was very dramatic, like you knew to expect something big during the show.

When Bob stopped tinting his hair it actually made him look younger. Have to agree with you there

and also one of the final times where Rod would simultaneously announce both TPiR and Press Your Luck on CBS, since the GSN logo bug in the bottom left corner in the intro (around the 0:31 mark) says September 1986 and the fact that PYL was ending its run in September of '86.

i'm guessing october or november because it was recorded in september...another footnote i believe this was around the time that ctv began airing tpir at 4pm weekdays on cfto tv channel 9(toronto)

The September 1986 first-run eps. of PYL apparently taped in June. There were five weeks of PYL reruns between 7/28/86 and 8/29/86.
