Loving the TPOB gear...however the range is confusing, is there a comparison chart anywhere so we can see what the various versions are also known as ;)

@@Sunny-3 This is what i have figured out Clippers - Phantom (Faper blade) = Gamma+/StyleCraft Ergos - Machete (Faper blade) = SC Rebel/G+ Boosted - Goblin (Faper blade) = SC Instinct - Troll (Fade blade) = Babyliss Lopros - Yeti (Fade blade) = Lopro's with a SC Mystic motor (microchipped magnetic 10,000 rpm motor) - Slime2 (fade blade)/Candy (Faper blade) = Wahl Magic Clip Trimmer - Demon = G+ Evo - Troll = Babyliss Lopro - X Trimmer = Cocco Pro - Goblin = SC Instinct - Ghost X = SC/G+ Absolute Hitter - Ghost = SC Ace Foil shavers - Mini Skull = SC/G+ Uno - Skull = SC/G+ Absolute Zero Note 1: Above mapping might not be 100% accurate, that's what they looked like to me. If there are some obvious errors I'd be happy to have been corrected to make this more accurate. Note 2: Some of them are just reimagination of products from wahl, andis and babyliss eg Slime 2/Candy/Yeti/Troll, but others are exactly the same internals with a different paint job. Exact same product with different brand name SC/G+/TPOB eg. Phantom, Machete, Goblin, Demon etc My recommendations - For Clippers with faper (Tpob's XO) blades (my preference), so Machete, Phantom. If Budget permits Goblin is the premium option. Candy, which is basically a wahl magic clip with taper blade at $60 is a deal no clipper can beat if you can stomach that pink color. For Fade blade clippers, troll, yeti, slime 2 are all super solid options. Cant beat the value for money that slime 2 provides at $55 - For trimmers, cant go wrong with any option. I think X Trimmer>Troll>Demon>Ghost X, but all have great blades. Ghost is great for debulking at less than $40. - Both single and double foil shavers are absolute fire.

Thanks for an honest REAL perspective! With the price of things being outrageously high, we Barbers/Cosmetologists need to figure out what tools out here can do the job, do it well, and if we can still get it done on a budget! TPOB is killing the game, Id love to see him build something of his own from scratch instead of trying to dupe out these other brands. We need innovation in this industry, were looking at you TPOB. Appreciate all you do for the industry! 💯 Edit/Do these have a charging dock?

@@THEPISSEDOFFBARBER That's what I'm saying. They haven't. We need more Innovation. Seemed like SC was doing a lil something with the Vector motor, but its too bad they made them so small, with not enough battery power. Seems to be the number one complaint with those clippers. I cut more than 20 heads a day, so I can't use a clipper that can only last through 4/5 cuts. I think there is so much room for improvement. So hoping you not only do what these brands are doing, but you do it even better. I'll be on the look out for your drops. Just put one of my friends up on your tools, he ordered a set of your clippers a couple days ago. He's pumped.

SC is not the creator of the vector motor. They just spend more on marketing these days than others. I use to think otherwise til TPOB took a moment to educate me personally.

TPOB Trimmer Clones - X = Cocco Pro BLDC = Supreme Trimmer Vader - Troll = Babyliss LO-PROFX - Goblin = Stylecraft Instinct - Demon = Gamma/Stylecraft EVO - Ghost = Stylecraft Ace - Ghost X = Supreme Trimmer T Shaper DLC (I’m not sure who made the original, but these are not the Gamma/Stylecraft Absolute Hitters or Protégés. These are absolute garbage!) Excellent video and thank you! I saw the list above in the comments which was posted by ​​⁠​​⁠@panic_diver about a month ago. It’s great information to know, although I did edit it.

The x does have different internals. Bigger battery and faster motor. The psycho blade is different than the cocco digital cap blade as well. X is my favorite trimmer at the moment for sure. And the act actually is derived for a Chinese company trimmer. The stylecraft instinct, evo, rebel and ergo were all copied from the brand MRD in China as well. Appreciate you checking out the video man.
