Setting the marks on the crab and getting the cam lobe saving out… does that apply to the stock cam as well? My manual didn’t say any of this when I removed the stock tensioner that I had to remove because it was stuck and when I installed a new stock tensioner it didn’t seem to hurt anything but trying to understand this process? Is it just for the manual adjustment tensioner? Mine is automatic.

can you briefly explain why this one would be better than a aftermarket self adjustable tensioner

Will this method of setting the tension work for all Manuel tensioners for xp1000 and turbos?
@drd1924 Жыл бұрын
I don't believe so, I have watched other brands say to adjust finger tight then only back off 1/8 of a turn. a full 1-1/4 turns seems like a lot but maybe this one has finer threads?

When do you hear the factory one go bad? 3k rpms? Roughly
@tprindustry89813 жыл бұрын
@@ryanhellman651 It is noisy at any RPM when it’s bad. If it is going out you should hear a very noticeable clacking noise on the passenger side of the engine where the factory tensioner is. There’s a video on our Instagram of what it sounds like broken
