It could be the way her mane looks, or her more pronounced eyelashes. Either way, while all three of them look nice as adults, she tends to stand out as the most striking of them.

This episode reminds me of the second verse of Gabriel Brown's(Black Gryph0n's) Crusader song: "I've been there, I know exactly what you're thinking But why try growing up too fast? Now, I've learned it's better living in the moment Enjoy youth, cause it doesn't last" When I was a kid I vaguely remember wanting to be older, but now that I'm older, I realize how lucky it is to be young. Kids don't need to worry about as much of life's problems like finding a job, college, and taxes. The CMC should enjoy their youth while they still can because life is going to get more complicated as they grow older and they will have a lot more responsibilities, they may be smart in some ways, but they still have a lot to learn.

Let's all take this as a lesson, enjoy the things you can do now so you can live with no regrets when you can't anymore. Growing up is good but comes with responsibilities too, so enjoy the time while you have. Ironic how many kids wish they were older and how adults or elderly people wish they were younger or knew about certain things sooner.

While it *would* be nice to just have the freedom to do what you want, being a grown-up means taking on a _lot_ more responsibilities. 10:38 - indeed so; Michelle, Claire and Madeleine all sound like they're so comfortable, using their _real_ voices for once...but I think the biggest vocal change happened to Sweetie Belle. Sweetie not only has the prettiest looks as a full-grown mare, but has the most mature, womanly voice of the three. She's *absolutely( taken after her big sister in full!! :D 12:14 - exactly....age with _none_ of the experience to go along with it...they're not really mares, they're fillies in mares' bodies. :/ 12:39 - but as I've said before, at least Scootaloo's parents never pulled the 'because we say so' card on her. 14:33 - yep, gotta give pony-Crazy Ralph one last scene, warning young mares to stay away from dangerous woods/swamps. :p 18:18 - Yeah, exposing pets who've only been used to seeing so little people, suddenly to so many others, probably isn't a good idea, for the sake of its mental health. 19:16 - "Apple strength, son!" 20:24 - Yep! "HOi! I'm TeM-Mie!" But in all seriousness, I think that Bluffie is meant to be a reference to Gizmo the Mowgli. 20:50 - and thus, the 'dreaded words' are spoken. And yep, EXACTLY! But look on the bright side, I think this is the very last time in the series overall it'll be spoken; might as well use it on the cutest ever living tornado! ^_^

Honestly Miles... this episode really fits a lot of things about growing up in a nutshell. The funny thing is that all kids wish to be grown-ups while as adults, we wish we were kids again. I relate to this with all my heart since I'm from another community related to this. Yes, growing up can have it's advantages but yet... It has it's disadvantages as well. Also... have you noticed this? When we're younger, we're always been taken care of since we were babies and toddlers and all that. Then we grow up, become independent and have kids of our own. And then at the end we kind of regress and are dependant at the end of the day on our kids or family or others. Then we die unfortunately and then the cycle restarts when we're born again. How weird is THAT?! Also, since the season is ending, I have 2 questions. First is are you gonna react to Gen 5 MLP and second one is as a treat, can you do a face reveal?

Another S9 episode that has taken me by surprise. I honestly didn’t expect that we’d see the CMC in their adult bodies until the series finale. Their fan art designs look 90% accurate to their canon appearances, last time I checked. To put it simply, I really like how these three look as full grown mares, they pretty much look the way I expected them to. Also, I like how we got another song from the CMC. This one is another S9 favorite of mine. As for the episode itself, it was very interesting, and had a good lesson for the girls to learn from.

I don't know about that. Did you see "Adult" Scootaloo's wings? They were clearly stunted. I think this episode outlines exactly what her disability is... Her wings just do not grow. But hey, it's fine, Scootaloo has learned to live with it, and that's what matters. She has never let it define her.

I'd like to take a moment to point out that Spur has the same manestyle as Cozy Glow. Minor but, at this point I'm looking for any hints on Cozy's background I can get. Plus, Sweetie Belle pulling off her first teleportation while under stress? She's a lot more powerful than we give her credit for, especially since she didn't really start using magic until S4. So proud of her. This episode was almost ruined for me twice in rapid succession. First from youtube's finicky recommendations giving a flood of clips that nearly gave the whole plot away (even if I didn't watch them), then from said spoilers pushing my expectations up to the point that it almost ended up breaking the 6 streak of good episodes. Once I'd tempered those though, it was more than enjoyable. Not the spectacular that I'd anticipated from an episode with the CMC finally growing up, but still good fun with one of the seasons better songs and an extra bit of closure. Middle of the pack in an excellent season, but it does up the streak to 7. In a way, this is the episode that truly makes the end of the show sink in. The CMC have had one of the longest and most satisfying arcs in the whole show, knowing that that's truly over now is...A sobering thought. Still, I have faith the final four with round things out on a high note.

I can't decide if I want you to do a blind or fan commentary for the next episode. There's this one scene that I believe you Have to see, but it's so easy to miss. Anyone who's see the episode will know what I'm talking about. I takes place in the background and barley lasts a second, but it Needs to be seen. If you are going to do a blind commentary, my advice is to keep an eye on the background, you'll know the scene when you see it.

@@TPrower 8. I really recommand this movie (the 1946 movie by Jean Cocteau) because it's kind of fascinating how this adaptation influenced all of the others. The Disney version took a LOT of cues from it (Walt Disney wanted to make a Beauty and the Beast movie during his lifetime, but after seeing the Jean Cocteau version, he gave up, saying "There's no way I can top that." There are a few interesting points in this version. - The Beast doesn't really chage through the movie. It's Bell who gets all the character developpement (going from a doormat to a more assertive woman and being able to see past the Beast's appearance). Although in this version, it's not the Beast's fault that he got transformed (it's his parents). - The Beast dresses and acts like a nobleman from the get-go, but occasionally shows some animal instincts (drinking from a stream, hunting and eating raw deer). - This version also created the character of Gaston (who wasn't in the original tale). Although the character was named Avenant and was played by the same actor as the Beast (Jean Marais). He was also a lot more subtle than Disney's Gaston - Belle's family is in this version. With two evil sisters and a brother. - The Beast's castle is full of carvings of arms and hands that seems to be alive (and some slightly move), similar to the animated objects. - There's also a magic mirror in this version, which is a bit more...impressive. - The ending is such a mind screw that I don't dare try to explain it. It is a movie worth watching, despite it's age. You probably can find it with English subtitles.

They aren't stupid they may be maturing but they're still kids who are more focused on things like the fair. Also Pinkie isn't the best chaperone and the Cakes are probably busy. That was literally the point of asking all of them only to find out that they have responsibilities. Sulking and pouting is literally what kids do

No, because this is another case of a moral being taught that makes sense in context of the CMC's ages, their situation, and the persumption that many kids have about wanting to grow up before their time. and 2. No, because it's a 26 minute cartoon. They didn't have time to show them going to see everyone. We just have to assume it was cut for time and that we're just not seeing it, and that they were all busy, too.

Funny that Spike wasn't around to impart some words of wisdom to the CMC's of the dangers of growing up too fast, since he already went through something similar waaaaaay back in S2. 😉 Also while I enjoyed the ep lesson & seeing the CMC's adult forms onscreen, I was a bit saddened that Scoots was still flightless in this adult form. 😞

Am I the only one who suspected the first time Spur was somehow related to Cozy Glow? Like the hair and the fact she's a pegasus made me suspect the first time I watched the episode (+ the fact her brother's color is similar to Tirek's was kinda suspicious too) Also I have been theorizing about how strong Sweetie Belle's magic could get, and the fact she was able to teleport in this episode (even if part of that flower's magic was involved) is genuinely impressive.
