I think we are vastly underestimating Frank… Rolly did well against tank until he was stopped. Frank is a much more skilled fighter, more patient and definitely has power of his own. I going with Frank for the upset…😌

Lot of hypotheticals going around. I’ve seen people say that Frank can/will win but can’t give a real reason why other than Tank “gives away rounds.” So if he chooses not to then what? A lot that yall are saying about Frank he has never shown in a fight. His best offense is when the opponent is shelled up against the ropes, other than that he makes a lot of mistakes when initiating his offense.

I’d say it’s gonna go like Davis vs Hector. But giving Martin more drive and forward pressure. Hector didn’t do badly and by what the 8th round distraction he got cold! I believe he jumped back in while being cold and got hurt. But I think he was finding his rhythm before the distraction and time out Davis called for. So that fight had Davis not scored a stun or TKO or knockdown it can be close. That’s how he’d possibly lose. Close competitive rounds and avoiding being stunned dropped or knocked out. Win by the judges Possible. Super possible Davis don’t win every early round and looks for a Ko but doesn’t get it ! What if he doesn’t get that big shot that changes the fight? If nothing .. it can be dangerous for him. Taking Martin lightly as well, he’s looking to prove something. He needs to win more than it matters to lose. These fighters are dangerous shouldn’t be laughed off

My main thing is frank Martin has never fought another southpaw. I’d be very surprised if after the 4th round, Martin has any type of success. I think Davis studies him and downloads martins attacks and gets him out of there in the 7th. It’s going to be just like when Davis fought this dude Jesus cuellar a few years back.

I going to give y'all the real on AB. It's like what my man Sean said AB has always been quick from the waist up and he fought this fight like old AB with the high guard walking you down. But he ain't old AB no more. Old AB didn't start the fight in the high guard walking you down. Old AB opened up with the Philly Shell and the shoulder roll seeing what you got and taking the steam out of you while picking his shots. This older version of AB can still see the shots but the window to get off is closed by the time he reacts. It's like watching Mosley Sr. at the end. Mosley just couldn't pull the trigger in those later fights. Mosley would hit a guy with a good shot, flurry, and rush in smothering his own punches and giving the guy a chance to cover up or hold and recover. Mosley and AB were both quick from the waist up and good athletes but the footwork wasn't there. All footwork ain't good footwork that's what Tank is talking about with Shakur, we praise Shakur's defense but Shakur's defense is mostly evading with his feet, he's not slick defensively like a Whitaker or Toney.

Have to disagree with Zitel on the part that Frank can match him in certain areas. He may have speed and athleticism but that doesn’t mean he can match him. The eye test shows you tank has more in those areas, plus better accuracy and timing. While I do think it’ll be a good fight, I also wouldn’t be surprised if Tank washes him.

Tank versus Frank is a high level fight. But the big difference is Tank is levels above. Yes frank has power speed and iq. But tank is better overall than frank with more. Also Tank Don't Get Credit With his Boxing Skills. He has a jab too. Also speed ,power, accuracy , timing the list goes on. He can actually out box Frank because he is the better fighter. In order for Frank to win he has to circle like crazy use angles control distance and throw combinations on the back foot. Sounds like alot but it boxing he can do it. And has the ability to do so. Everyone else Tank fought, were clearly past their primes or not on his level. Tank has fought a lot of Mexican boxers who are tailor-made for him with their come forward, offense first, defense last, style. Tank wins in round 7 or 8. Tank has much faster hands, exponentially better feet, nuclear power, and better timing and accuracy. Frank will come out and do well in the first couple rounds while tank downloads him, and probes. After that, tank will start hitting him but Frank wil not make the adjustments, but will be too brave and keep coming forward and will get knocked out.

I have a lot of respect for Showtime SP, and there’s a lot of opinion thrown around. Now one thing that I disagree a lot of the reference from the guy with the long hair, putting Canelo with Clarissa as an athlete that became humbler or more approachable in the later part of career. In the sense of Clarissa I can agree with that but if you see Canelos, that is so far from the truth. Look at Canelo interviews on the later part of career and he’s not humble at all. It’s not even confidece. He’s just so full of himself to the point that if you ask the questions that the great majority of the boxing world want to hear His answer, he’s just a dick about it. Yea he has had a good career fighting a lot of great competition but just like Floyd was told he did, Canelo fights boxers on their way out of after bad loses. Contrary to Clarissa Shields that only fights the best available opponent always, for the biggest possible fight for the biggest possible reward and still has a ladylike, confident attitude and is very honest even when having a bayass excuse my spelling on that word, but having bayass for fellow fighters on several fights. Still I commend you Mr Porter for after a great boxing career and for using your knowledge of the sport and making it available for the world to enjoy!!
