TR7 V8 In-Car Taupo 2WD Rally 2012

Stage 5 of Taupo 2WD Rally Aug 4th 2012. In-car Triumph TR7 V8 with Mark Parsons & Timothy Trout. Rally is 5 stages of Taupo Motor Racing Track. The Altezza is a Chev V8 driven by Mark Whyte and Tracey Lance. Anton Cheetham in an S15 Silvia with GTR engine won the rally from the Altezza, with us third. With the starting interval of 1 minute we had several chases like this during the day .....

The bloke makes it look so easy. Hard to appreciate just how hard he is driving until you look at the angle of the horizon through the windscreen on the corners. He can drift it with the best,awesome.

Hiya Warrior101 .... we did go off the road and got stuck (having just climbed to fourth) .... we got going but withdrew half way through the last day with a broken axle. Despite going home with our tail between our legs, we had the bug and enough enthusiasm to come back in '97 with the help of Trustbank Tasmania and give it a really good shot. I've only ever had the one TR7 V8 (for 23 years now) and still enjoy using it.

Fantastic Mark and thanks for sharing. I've been a big fan since following your progress to 3rd outright in the '97 Targa Tasmania and a wedge owner since '94 - currently with too many. I hope you will post more videos and some details about your fantastic orange wedge.

Hi Mate baffles in fuel tank needed as I had the same problem your spot on cause is G Force swill pot helped to cure the problem also. look me up if you are on Face book, the names john kneen profile picture is my TR7 V8 rally car.
