I was in Rotterdam last year and I can honestly say that it is the city I love the most from the Netherlands. I hope that one day I can live there but there is a long path to be taken. If you didn't have yet the chance to visit it, do it. You'll not regret it!

Rotterdam was one of the best moments of my life - lots of people, great meetings, lots of sleepless nights - the only downside could be that some people could be jealous and had something to worry about.

Another great thing about Rotterdam compared to Amsterdam is that whenever you feel bored for a day you can take a Metro to the beach or The Hague thus granting you access to 2 cities and 2 beaches at the same time :)

Shown very quickly, but not mentioned is that you can use the watertaxi. Especially when going to the SS Rotterdam this is a spectacular waterside arrival

Rotterdam is beautiful but its not even close to amsterdams asthetics. You have to be bullshiting yourself or dont have enough money to visit it. I live in Amsterdam and i visited rotterdam its not even comparable.

I watched ‘Who Am I?’ today for a nostalgic feeling. Jackie Chan performed an amazing stunt on that building in Rotterdam, and I just fell in love with the city. I would like to visit it this year.

9:24 isn't in the Old Harbor of Rotterdam. It's the Amstel in Amsterdam. 9:29 isn't in Rotterdam either. It's not even in the Netherlands, but in Germany.

This a rant ! This video doesn’t even scratch te the surface and looks like it’s made by someone who never visited the city. The attractions covered can be found in a 5 minute internet search. The Lauren’s church, stadhuis and the museums mentioned are all in the city center and within walking distance of each other As are the cube houses and the harbour museum mentioning each separately is proof the maker of this video has never been to Rotterdam the Market Hall is less then 2 minutes walking away from there. Failing to mention Rotterdams largest Street market that held every Tuesday and Saturday on the Binnerrotte a large square immediately outside the market hall is another give away. The shopping areas he mentioned ( coolsingel, Lijnbaan and Koopgoot) are all connected it’s the city centre area shopping centre. In my view it’s an omission not to mentioning Rotterdam Central Station ( train, metro and trams) coming out of the train station you are a 5 to 10 minute walk away from everything mentioned in this video ( even the harbour tour and Kinderdijk because the best way to visit them is to book a cruise) Places not mentioned here are the witte de With straat , essentially one huge restaurant with everything you can think off , The Kop van Zuid Foto museum, restaurants, Historic Hotel New York. Easy and fun way to get there is to take a water taxi. A short Metro ride away ( parly on an elevated platform) shopping mall Zuidplein an Convention Centre Rotterdam Ahoy, (Events, concerts and sport venue) then there are the Rotterdam parks for example Het Park near the Rotterdam Euromast,( an observation tower,) in front of the euromast entrance is the Chinese Boat a restaurant, oriental supermarket and Hotel on ship, plus a variety of specialised cruise ships, pan cake boat, spareribs boat. Etc.

The river Rotte is not pronounced rot.. Contrary to english letters written in dutch words actually mean something and thus are pronounced.. Stop this english lazyness and stop butchering the pronounce words correctly. And the "te" at the end of the word means the word is pronounced like Rottuh.. like in duh!!!!
