The soldiers in the video are part of the 3rd Infantry, "The Old Guard" They have stood watch over the tomb of the unknown soldier since it was dedicated over 100 years ago. Arlington is open to all branches of service for burial, though the cemetery, nearly 160 years old is reaching capacity and limitations have been enacted. You can be buried at Arlington if you die while on federal active duty other than training. As far as I know, the federal distinction mainly applies to the National Guard. If you've retired from active duty and are receiving retirement pay. Former POWs who received an honorable discharge from their last term of service and died on or after November 30, 1993. @@jamescurfman3284 Happy to help. Arlington does have the most restrictive burial eligibility of the national cemeteries and the eligibility rules have been changed 14 times in the last 150 years. They are proposing new rules to eliminate eligibility for those who die on active duty, but not in combat, and the retirees. As of now I haven't heard of these changes taking place though. They also have a planned expansion with room for about 60,000 more graves, but the cemetery is indeed running out of space.

If you get the chance, you should go to Arlington...My parents took us when I was 12...it's one of the very clearest memories I have of our trip to Washington, DC...I had a great great uncle buried there.

There is a video on KZbin that is complimentary to this song. Clinton Anderson a horse trainer has a video out where he visited the Old Guard. They are the soldiers who you see in the background of this video carrying the casket into Arlington for the burial on the traditional caisson. It's a wonderful video that will bring a tear to your eye.

That's Arlington national cemetery. There's a lot of great veteran organizations to support. I'm a veteran and i give to Wounded Warriors. That's also one of the ones Trace Adkins does a commercial for. Love Trace Adkins.

There is an older movie that shows the Army unit that provides the Tomb Guards for the Unknown Soldiers. It gives you a slight look at the cemetery and the way parts functions. The movie is called " Gardens Of Stone " starring James Caan, James Earl Jones as two of the main characters. I saw an interview with Trac and he said that the Marines picture that was on the back ground was given to him by the Marine's dad to use in the video. Semper Fidelis

Your reactions are so much a fresh breath of air because of your raw emotions. I can't keep my emotions from being shown... even as tough as I try to be when ur heart strings are touched there is nothing wrong with a natural reaction
