It is when you see how many trains are still on the course while they're stacked. We were going up the lift with the train in front also still going up the lift lol. That was a first for us!

When you look at all the spots the trains are stopped in- wouldn’t that technically be quadruple stacked?

@@coasternerd6883 if Diamondback has a train in the station, one on the final brakes, and one on the station approach, that's a double stack. Trace du Hourra here has a total of four trains waiting; one in the station and three on the brakes; this would be a triple stack. The train in the station doesn't count for stacking purposes.

They're really good, this is by far the best of the bunch we've ridden 🙂 They're aren't many left now though. Over the years, more and more have been removed from parks. But you're right, they have a totally different feel to a standard coaster. The way you get thrown up the sides on the corners feels more like a suspended coaster 🙂

A great one is Flying Turns at Knoebels in PA. If you go on a good day, AKA a weekday, there isn’t too bad of a line. It’s a must ride.

🤣 It roughly translates to "Trial of Hurray". There is a whole back story to this ride involving a caveman running down a weaving path, through the rocks all the way to the bottom.

If you pause at 1:55, it looks like someone dropped their hat. Good thing the train didn't hit it

It happens quite a lot. There is no way for the staff to retrieve caps from the trough without closing the ride, causing considerable downtime. So they tend to get left until the end of the day. People shouldn't wear caps in the ride in fairness.
