Another beautifully written, diligently researched and sensitive elucidation of a case by Steven Pacheco. Police probably are trying to find at least her body to prove that she was dead. It might of solidified that she didn’t run away and she may have never got back gone back to the parking lot. The case had a lot of she couldn’t be prove to had run away and was tired of supporting her daughters. I know, it sounds ridiculous that she would of abandoned her children but the courts denied the girls ssi assistance. If the courts won’t accept that she was dead then the police might of worried a jury might say show us that she’s dead. Where’s the body? Are we sure she isn’t alive. Lack Peterson’s body surfaces where her husband claimed he was at the day she disappeared. That was stronger circumstancal evidence than she’s gone. Maybe he made the whole damn drinking story up. They never even made it to the mall. Maybe he took her to the campsite and made a pass at her and when she refused he killed her. Then he went back later and buried her body somewhere else. Since you don't have her body the cause of death is unknown. If he strangled her, took her body back to the truck and discarded her purse in the woods so as to make it look random if she was found deceased in her truck. Then he went back later and when he had more time took her body elsewhere.

My theory is this: Audrey went to confront Jarvis, perhaps because he was acting inappropriately towards her daughters and maybe threatened to report him to the police. Having already been convicted of having s*x with a minor this could have mean`t even more jail time for Jarvis. So he attacked Audrey, there was a scuffle that explains her purse being found nearby and he killed her. Then he went to somewhere remote and dumped the body. His account of what he and Audrey did during the day until late evening was made up BS. This in my opinion is the most likely scenario. Another point, Audrey had siblings so why didn`t they offer to take the children rather than let them being cared for by strangers. Not what I`d describe as a loving family, very sad for those kids.

Your beautiful landscape description at the startup of each video you make is taken from a book or some articles, or is something made up from your own vocabulary ? You always start with a thoroughly description of a place where the action took place and use remarkable words like an experienced novelist. I am just asking, because I am following also other youtubers covering true crime cases, but no one is presenting so into deep the area and the surroudings of the place.

My guess is that Audrey confronted Jarvis about the sex abuse of minors and he killed her. That would explain why she refused to let her young daughter go with her. The child might have figured out what Audrey was going to do and was terrified for her mother. There is no way that Audrey would have voluntarily stayed out until 10 pm after promising her child that she would be back in a few hours and not calling. Also, the daughter had called Jarvis's roommate several times up until about 1 am, and the roommate said that Jarvis was not there, while Jarvis said that he went home at around 10 pm and took a shower.

So few cases like these come out of Vermont. I used to live in the Northfield area. Nothing happens and people do keep a watchful eye. Jarvis is guilty as hell.

I think it’s clear Jarvis is involved yes it is a possibility something could of happened after she left Jarvis but seems unlikely Also what kind of justice is 15 months for sexually assaulting a minor this is proof the justice system doesn’t work

A woman never backing down is not a good thing, sometimes they just have to know when to quit....a lot of guys get threatened by women that "Don't back down" and it seems like Audrey might have met one such guy!! It's not ideal but in that situation she should have just been quiet and refrained from speaking her mind....don't shoot the messenger!!

Jarvis is my main and only suspect. I dont think this dude was ever planning on her coming back. I seen the story on the charley project also and it stated there that her truck was found at the park n ride with the keys still locked inside the truck. Now if this was the case how could she access her truck again even if she had been dropped off? I am thinking she was not aware of what this guy did to her relative and was interested in him and planned on staying with her that night at least then things went to hell for some reason. I dont really have an issue with the mall story being that he could have been her boyfriend and was telling her he was going to buy her something or perhaps her kids something.

Maybe people should be thinking where and when are most people likely to be having an argument that got violent, 40 minutes to a shopping centre is a long time alone with someone to be discussing anything and everything

Wouldn’t that also make Jarvis’s roommate culpable of a crime? Think about it. Audrey’s daughter called Jarvis and the roommate answered and she called late in the night when Jarvis was said to be home around 10. The roommate told Audreys daughter that Jarvis wasn’t home and that the mom should be home by the morning. WTH!! They should press that roommate hard

Notes: 1) Right off the bat, Details don't add up here in this case. If Audrey was aware of Jarvis criminal or perhaps personal background to the extent she reportedly warned her kids never to be alone with him, Why remain in contact with him and in his company on the day she disappeared ? The lady was reportedly strong willed and blunt talking. It seems a typical based on what had been stated about her. 2) What we know of the remains of her disappearance , her truck was found at a park and ride with the keys inside ready to start the vehicle and her purse was found outside the vehicle in the nearby area. The purse is an odd detail. If she was taken by someone , why leave the purse there? It strikes as either intentional or sloppy. 3) Jarvis strikes one as the most obvious suspect in this case but something doesn't add up with this guy. His cover story as I call it. strikes me as not a typical phony alibi but a deliberately structured fiction . After all, he can remember what he had when they went to Wendy's but not what she had . He can produce a receipt for a purchase he made at the mall but no one recalls seeing Audrey there. This story seems at first as if he is covering his tracks as regards Audrey but considering his criminal history there seems to be another reason for his making up this tale.Jarvis seemed afraid of something else coming out about him. What that was I don't know but that's what I sense here.
