Jakarta Post printed that Indonesia is the second worst place in the world for a woman to live. Did I at times feel uncomfortable living in Bali? Of course. But do I think it is the second worst place in the world? I really can’t say. I didn’t grow up experiencing it first hand. To gain A Deeper Understanding, I went out and spoke with local Indonesian women to get their perspectives. As a result, I decided to make this video about the determined women who don’t care about stereotypes. These Indonesian women are ready to change the world.

Well, this is most probably going to controversial, but here goes anyway. Men & women are not equal & never will be. Each have their own strengths & weaknesses & their own capabilities. Neither sex are superior to the other. Get the right mixture & they compliment each other. However, any man or woman who treats the other with contempt, or lack of respect, deserve a good slap until they come to their senses & act properly. (That last bit is just my personal approach to the problem & I'm not advocating that it should be taken as a universal panacea).

Charles Roberts neither sex are superior to the other 👍🏼 I don’t want to speak for the women in this video but I had many conversations with them about the differences between men and women and how we should stop comparing one another and start lifting each other up. Of course, that requires both sides to play the game.

@@TRACINGTHOUGHT ... I wouldn't miss any of your videos Ashlei. They are so varied & informative ... showing aspects of the 'real' Bali. Not the usual, repetitive 'this is what we eat ... this is where we stay ... these are waterfalls & these are monkeys'. I must be getting grumpy & impatient in my old age lol ;-)

@@TRACINGTHOUGHT ... Oh I know I will ;-) And being 'grumpy' just comes naturally when you are living in the U.K. ... it's a national trait lol. Hopefully, later this week, I will have more info on that 'project' we were chatting about. Say 'hi' to Tyler for me.

Don't trust Jakarta Post they usually being exaggerated in some sensitive topics. Indonesia second worst place for women is simply liar. Indonesia itself ever had a women as president. Many Indonesian minister, directors, top management are women as well. Go to Jakarta women have priviledge in public transportation. Demographics gender proportion of Indonesian population is fairly equal unlike those in India or China.

PissMenn so many newspapers talk about the harsh realities for Indonesian women outside of the city of Jakarta and Bali. The second country in the world may not be true (I don’t know) but I do agree, there is worse. These beautiful women are very empowering! 💛💛
