TRACK DAY AT CIRCUIT OF THE AMERICAS: Slowest lap around COTA ever on the Buell Lightning and 1125CR

My first track day at Circuit of the Americas! Granted, it was the slowest lap around COTA ever, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Join me on the Buell Lightning and my hubby on his Buell 1125CR as we take a spin around the very same track as MotoGP motorcycle racers.
I even tell you about something unbelievable that happened at the 2019 MotoGP races! When I saw it, I couldn't believe my eyes. Watch to find out!
So how did we get the chance to do this? The Circuit of the Americas opened their track to the public to help raise funds for the Central Texas Food Bank. Hundreds of cars and motorcycles "raced" the 3.4-mile track all for a good cause.

Thanks for sharing this experience. Looked like a blast. I have a big fat cruiser and it’s not really my style of the ride, but definitely appreciated. That turn around area though !!! I go to my moms property and her driveway is a nightmare for my bike. 1000 lbs with me on it sinks right into the big gravel and it’s a bag of tricks to deal with. Glad the MR. is in check and back to business.

You and Edward should totally do a COTA track day! Be warned because it is highly addictive lol! Also i like sitting at turn 15 during moto go, but this time I may buy my seats at turn 12 lol! Can't wait to see your next vid!

I actually saw a video someone took on their Suzuki TU250X and they were passing everyone, lol. We were lucky we got there early enough before the real crowd hit though. Track day and dirt biking noted!
