I wondered where you had gone. Didn’t see any notifications and then you commented on Chopper Fets, figured I better go check to see where you at. Great to see you get over 1000. Well done. Listen don’t apologise for only doing vids when you can. I wouldn’t subscribe if I didn’t want to watch what you produce. Like I said don’t give a toss about what others might think of you. You are you and only you can be you. You have something on your channel that people like. I don’t watch my analytics either, I check to see the ages of people etc but that’s about it. My question to you is: Are you related to your mother and father? 😁
@JoyonaBike4 жыл бұрын
Yep I’m still here, just more off than on recently. All good advice to keep in mind. And yes, I’m for sure related to my mom and dad. 😄 Thanks for stopping over!

Hi Joy! Congrats on hitting the 1,000 mark. I haven't checked lately, but I'm pretty sure my subscriber count is holding steady at 2. Not 2,000. 2. But that's not why I'm jealous of you. I'm jealous because the Buell XB Lighting is my Dream Bike. So...questions: how hard is it to find replacement parts for an XB motorcycle? They have so many quirky design things that are unique to to XBs, like the brake rotors, and they were never a big seller even when they were still producing them 11 years ago. I'm afraid that if I get one and manage to break or wear something out on it, it's going to be a real headache getting new parts. Also, what's your favorite thing about the Lightning? Never having ridden one, I'm in love with the really unique engine sound and the fact that it's a fairly rare/exotic bike despite being really affordable secondhand.

Thank you! The Lightning is pretty awesome. Thanks for the questions, they’re on the list!

If price was no option - what would be your dream bike? I also ride a Tu250X and love it . Glad to see someone else riding that doesnt have to have a liter bike to blog. your blogs are so great.

Hello From Tx. It’s good to see you back & congrats on the 1k subs! My question is, how long did it take you to be comfortable enough to go long solo rides after you learned to ride?

My wife and I are both in our late 50s. We’ve talked about getting a pair of “beginner” bikes. I had a series a dirt bikes growing up, but have not been on a bike in 40 years. My wife has never been on a motorcycle. My son races motocross and also had a road bike. He recommends us getting dirt bikes first, so that we get comfortable without becoming a hood ornament. Do you have any thoughts on this and how did you learn to ride?

I ha e a question. Why did you keep the TU250X? Why do you like it so much? I have the Tu250x, 2011 model and i ha e put lots of miles on sence i sold my old one. It is a very satisfying motorcycle and so damn fun. It has wonderfull handling on the twisties and it is a masterpiece of a machine. Is so nice I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE SELL THEM! why not keep it and have a faster one? I will never get rid of mine even of it dies. If it dies ill fix it... Tu250 forever

Hello from North Texas! - fellow Buell rider Also, IIRC you have the right side air scoop - how's it working out for you? I am looking at getting one, too. Also, just got a small bonus from work and getting a Revision Moto pipe for my bike. One of these: www.rev-mo.com/product-page/buelltooth-xb-sg-slip-on-exhaust-system

Hi and thanks for the question! Awesome about the exhaust. Still have the stock exhaust on mine, for some reason I haven’t wanted to swap it out.

@@JoyonaBike Mine's pretty rough - rusty and has a large dent on the underside. It still sounds okay but I wanted to upgrade it - loud pipes save lives, right? :P

@@ervinhepler9558 Oh, no I didn’t mean to give that impression! It’s my own fault for being less healthy. It was just an added stressor with everything else going on with life and the world, and I chose to hop off the healthy living wagon for a bit.

Awww now I know from my past lessons with the women around that it's always the man's fault 😁👍🍺
