Track Day or Test Day? Which is best for a rookie racing driver? Mid-Season Testing at Silverstone!
Find out the main differences surrounding the two options as I take the Ginetta G56 on an open test day at Silverstone, ahead of the penultimate round of the GT Academy Championship.
The last time I was here was to drive the LMP3 car, an experience which has given me much more confidence when taking on this famous circuit.
I'm hoping to find where I can improve my lap times around Silverstone, though the busy nature of the day makes this a difficult prospect. Will the multiple stoppages and red flags serve to make this a futile exercise?

I need to smile more. Another great video. From a technicians point of view I prefer running race cars on a proper test day, for the exact reasons you mention in this video.
