Nice job. Love the video style! And the Dynamat install at 3:29 under the CP is the same thing I did on my Gaplus to cut down on the fire button sound. (I thought I'd be original, and crazy, for doing that. Glad someone else though if it too!)

Did I see a spare key placed in the marquee area? Good idea and I will remember this. Great looking game. 👍

You absolutely did. Haha it’s something I do for all my games not on location. You’re the first person to comment on me doing that, like ever. Haha.

Why didn’t you do a full 360 walk around at the end? Missed opportunity 😒

My new favorite channel! Any chance you guys have a resource for lowboy plans? Also, interesting idea on the Dynamat. What would you say it helps with?
@TheCanadianArcade Жыл бұрын
Thanks! No source on the plans i'm afraid. The Dynamat definitely helps with the overall vibration of the panel when you're playing an intense game.

Love the channel , my next big project is building this cab from scratch so I will have plenty of questions. I would like to start procuring parts now , would love some guidance. Do you know where I could get a metal CP for the Track n field. I could make a wood one but I don’t know how I would get my buttons in there since I have the correct leaf switch buttons. Also , the plexiglass bezel (or was it tempered glass tinted) , where did you pick that up from ?
@TheCanadianArcade3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'd also check KLOV and some of the Facebook groups, there are a TON of people restoring this cab right now so parts are out there. The display is tinted plexiglass that we picked up at a local plastics supply company who cut it to size.

@@TheCanadianArcade got the guy on KLoV to hook me up. I have a question though. I was looking at some blueprints and noticed some pieces are 1/2 inch. Are the main parts 3/4 or 5/8 inch ? Would also like to know your preference on type of wood when building cabs , MDF , MDO, Birch? Other?

@@therexershow I’d say go by the plans on Classic Arcade Cabinets .com. They seem to be the best. Original can is prelaminated particle board. I think its 3/4 but I’d have to triple check
