If you have a netting shuttle that can hold paracord, it makes pulling all that extra cord through early on much easier.

This was a satisfying braid, easy to make it come out geometrical. I ended up using a fid once the weaving got going, was just easier for me. I started out with 14 ft of cord, made 5.25 in of weave, and still had 8 ft of cord leftover. Thanks ParaPlnt!
