Track Testing the New K24A Civic Racecar

In this video we head to a local but not often visited Blyton Park. The circuit I did my first ever trackday at nearly 10 years ago. How time flies.
The last time we were here we got into a bit of bother with the MR2, so hopefully nobody recognises us and the black flag stays in its holster.
We are here to give the Civic a shakedown, get a feel for it, make sure nothing needs replacing ahead of its first race at Donington Park.

Will look forward to you pushing it hard will be interesting to see how the rear end behaves when you are on the limit on the hard braking areas with all the weight transfer to the front. The handling looks quite neutral for a fwd. Get the race uploaded lol. I did see the first lap antics in the tt 🙈 on the live darkside channel yesterday put out hopefully you kept your cool!

Interested in further thoughts on the accelera 651's, myself and a few of my pals have been using them for track days. I'd compare them to an AD08r or NS2-r in terms of grip level but they are significantly cheaper than any other option and seem to last well and have fairly stiff sidewalls.

I’ve been in to saloons recently. Think a good Hot Hatch car could be a Mondeo ST220 HB. Exhaust tune and intake with a strip and it should be near 200hpt. Torque though. Cheap car. 🤔
