Hey Albert, Wilf and Track Fans!
This may seem slightly longer for a regular track episode but we're having a look at, some new track scenery from both Slot Track Scenics and Magnetic Racing, both great firms and really dedicated to having fun and bringing us some great ideas for slot car racing and Scalextric racing tracks.
Loving the Slot.it Porsche 962C in this episode, I highly recommend one if you're looking for something to race in the class: Group C.
Our next show will be at the UK Slot Car Festival in Gaydon on the 28th and 29th of May 2022! I've seen the line up for the exhibitors, in a nutshell, everyone and his dog will be there! I can't wait to see the slot car racing tracks, it's going to amazing!

Hey Pete. Another awesome video! 👍. Quick question - what is the blue stuff you use to add weight just under the front axle?

Hi buddy, thanks for the nice comments. The blue stuff is blue-tac, ideally you should use led, I've changed it since to be led 👌🏻

Love the track in this episode, will try and build it soon 👌. Slot.it cars are really good but don't crash well at all. You can get the race tuned or standard cars. I went for the angle winder, higher rpm motor. The paint job you did on the Porsche looks really good 👍. The best thing about slot.it is how upgradable they are. See you at Gaydon.

Hi Pete As a complete Novice to this world can the slot it cars have a digital chip fitted ?

Morning Darren, great to have you on board 👌🏻. Yes, there are different digital chips for different track software. Scalextric have theirs for their tracks along with Carrera and Ninco. When you get into it and consider competitive racing then you would need different chips such as Oxigen ones. I've only ever shown the Scalextric ones on this channel as, like you, I've regrown back into the hobby and these are generally (unless you get Carrera) the most widely used domestically.
