My husband & I have a 2019 Prowler Pro XT (which is the same as Tracker 800). We use it to check corn/cattle fields and some minor trail riding. A few upgrades are: Front Winch (if not included at factory), wireless controls for front winch, Front Windshield, Street Legal lighting & horn kit, Sheet Metal heat shield under its rear box (to deflect heat from its engine and muffler), large size Reverse light under its rear box, side mirrors. Recommend Hard Cab upgrade for colder winter air regions as well. Our Prowler isn't the fastest or the most smooth suspension but its fun to drive. Especially with its super quiet (even at higher RPM speed) 4-stroke engine. Not too sure if we would use its rear box for gravel/dirt hauling (use attached lower to the ground 4x6 trailer instead) but its rear box works great for tools and light weight materials... This "utility" design UTV is a Must Have tool for farm country usage and light trail usage.......

Bought mine 3 years ago and have no regrets. Trail riding in Maine , work on my daughters farm, and threw a Quick draw gun rack on it for shooting sporting clays. It has done it all. Plus I get plenty of comments on it's looks and how very quiet it runs.

I was going to get a Polaris, but not now. This Tracker 800 series is just what I need. May have to start with the basic model and buy a roof but that's ok.

I bought a 800SX Crew Aug 2019. I've had a few issues with it. But same thing happens with other machines. I do agree the shifter issue should be a recall. I just had to have my shifter cable replaced. Cost a little over $600 bucks mostly labor. This is happening on too many of the machines and Tracker should step up and fix the issue. It seems like it should be a recall. Happening way too many times. I purchased mine at Cabels in Cheektowaga NY. I also wa one of the 1st 2500 to buy the machine which put me in the Founders Club. Great machine except for the few issues.

I have 17 hours on mine and it had 5 hours on it when it was bought. I have already had to have the bed and tailgate replaced because of cracks. Now, today I was seeding a food plot and the shifter would hardly go into gear. It has always been tough to get in any gear. I got back to my trailer and the thing wouldn't go into reverse. It finally did, but then it wouldn't go into forward. The shift lever is now just flopping around. If I didn't have a wench on the front of it, which is an option, I would have never been able to get it on the trailer. Now, I'm a little worried about it getting fixed. I have to have it for my hunting property because it is the only way for me to get around. I'm glad I did not go to my tower in the woods because it would still be sitting there. Hopefully, the dealer will be able to get it fixed very soon.

Update; the shop found the problem with the shifting. The shift cable had stretched. I was told that it was why it had always been tough to go into gear and this has been showing up in other 800sx. A new re-designed cable is on the way. It just seems to me that if they knew it was a problem, there would have been a re-call for it. Anyway, I'm happy that it is a simple fix and my 800sx will be back in the woods soon.

Well, they replaced the cable and guess what?, it broke again the first time I took it out. Now, I am not able to get my property ready for deer season, which starts this Saturday. I was told this time that the clutch is bad. Not good for something that has only 17 hours on it. I was told when I bought it that they had been using it to move boats around. I believe this is why the clutch is bad. Some of those boats are over the 2000lb towing limit. I wish I never bought this damn thing. Each time I have taken it back, I get a different explanation for what the cause of the problem is. I should have bought the Kawasaki. This is what I get for trying to by a USA product.

My 880 sx side by side has given me problems from soon after I Bought it.it will be running fine and then without warning it will go into limited rpm mode.this limits your speed to 10mph.if you have to travel on a highway for any distance it can be very dangerous.i personally have to occasionally travel onto a county road to access another property location.the dealer said that they can’t find any problems.has anyone else experience this problem.

Are you wearing your seat belt? On mine, if I'm not wearing the seat belt, the speed is limited to 15 mph.

This is the same thing as a John Deere Gator 825i. The engine is exactly the same. Only difference is the Gator only seats 2, it doesn't have a full bench seat like the 800SX.

The heat coming off the radiator into the cab is not good. Love the machine but I will need to put something in front of the cab to deflect the heat. Will be good for winter.The cup holder needs to be moved it does not support a tall cup but it will fit a water bottle. Oh and if you put a trailer ball on it watch out when you lift the bed with tail gate down it hits, scratched my decal :( Curious as to why these reviews do not mention these issues.Skid plates are good but hard to get the mud out even with a pressure washer. The machine is awesome but I hope tracker sees this. Oh it is quiet until the fan turns on.

I just had my 3rd overheating issue, small rubber grommet in overflow keeps tearing and leaving me stranded. I called and the only way to get help is by EMAIL....I left a review above, it was my initial review once broke in but I will tell you now this machine is a POS, it has left me stranded 3 times in the hills. My tracker 800sx is a 2020 model purchased in 2021. The dump bed is cracking. And now the location where the tailgate latch is mounted is cracking and about to break off.

@@TRACKEROFFROAD Its the same Chery 372 thats used in Jd Gators/Kawasaki Mule… we were told by Tracker factory and their service manager, “ We cant supply engine parts, but will sell you a new engine for $5k”….. I even asked… if you had an engine warranty item and needed parts, how would THAT be handled”? Was told they would replace the entire engine.
