Love my mini! I take mine with me when I travel or when I need to take a break from work and lounge. So much fun and so easy to figure out once you have it in your hands 😊

Update request: please add an option to switch the upper 8 buttons to a Keyboard for live note input. Should be enough for most scales. Thanks!

100% agreed 🤝 💯

If you are a member of Polyend's forum called Backstage, please vote under the topic named "Alternate Note Entry Mode". When it gets enough votes, they will implement it.

Maybe fits in a pocket of JNCO jeans... Very cool device sadly wasn't for me... Just sent mine back to Polyend today😢... Still love the OG tracker and Play though... Looking forward to the next firmware updates...

@@sodiumlights Just minor things mostly that lead to frustration as opposed to deep creative rabbit holes like the ones I've enjoyed so much using the OG tracker and the Polyend Play... The lack of pads for me was big one too... Just felt cramped when i used it... I'm a big guy too... The +/- instead of jog wheel was where i was most nervous and that actually worked flawlessly in my opinion... I felt if it wasn't $700 maybe id give it more of a chance... As for portability i mean i guess if you wear giant pants or a large jacket... Its not fitting in any pockets of mine and i dont wear tight clothes... I mean Polyend is an amazing company and I took a gamble with the mini and just felt it's a cool device but i just wasnt feeling comfortable with it... The biggest problem i had, which isnt Polyend or the Mini's fault, was also using it with my ipad and AUM in the past with the OG tracker and Play it was kinda buggy but i always felt it had to do with possibly the USB-C powering the unit and being used as a connection... With the mini and independent battery i felt those issues would be eliminated but it actually made it worse someone... Overall I think if i didnt have the option to return id be disappointed but I would have eventually adjusted to it... Definitely a cool device though... I definitely can see a lot of people enjoying it...

@@iamYork_ Cheers for a great reply. You wrote that you may have adjusted to the issues/disappointments in time...for me, the little niggles only amplify with time!

Seems like anybody working at Polyend wears Shaquille O'Neal size pants! More seriously, had it for 3 weeks now, best device of 2023 for me! And i'm pretty sure it will get even better with time, as it was the case for the Vanilla Tracker, the Play, etc. Hats off for the team!

I'm getting really tempted. would it be possible to add a setting to turn off transport auto-scroll when playing? the scrolling kills my eyes. you can turn it off in renoise (m8 / lsdj doesn't auto-scroll either). it's so much easier for me to work with that setting, personally 🙏

how many sounds can you have per layer or one step?

I love my Tracker! (I know that the mini just came out but are there any synths like the Medusa coming out again in the future?)

@@junglesurvivalcamp if it’s the same as the full size Tracker it’s about 1:40 minutes

@@junglesurvivalcampI might be wrong about recording times but it promises 8 minutes of sample time

This video would seriously benefit from a talk track. I don’t watch videos to read 😅I’d just check out the PDF.
