I need a compact weatherproof silent tracker with at least a 30 day battery life. I don’t mind paying a subscription because I anticipate I won’t need more than 3 months. Backstory… I make and/or buy deluxe saddles for my parent’s headstone. Some scumbag keeps stealing them. You’re probably thinking it’s not worth tracking but these saddles are $100 - $125 each. I changes them for every holiday or change of season so this loss adds up quick. It needs to be compact so I can hide it in the foam block the flowers are attached too which is roughly 2” thick. Their gravesite is 60 miles from me so recharging frequently is not an option. What tracking device do you suggest?

I have the Tracki Pro 4G, I'm thinking since its 10k Mha battery built in to maximize even further by adding an external power bank like 25k. That will last forever while disabling all the battery saver modes off and enabling updates every 1 minute. Main purpose is vehicle.

What about radio frequency trackers? I'm in a very rural area with no cell/bluetooth coverage in most areas. But my understanding is the radio frequency ones don't have a monthly fee and work anywhere.
@TrackThisNThat2 ай бұрын
Yes, there are RF GPS trackers that communicate location without using cellular networks, and they work almost anywhere. However, what you might not realize is that every one I've seen has a maximum range of about 3 miles from transmitter to receiver in ideal conditions-which, in real-world scenarios, is typically closer to a mile.

@@TrackThisNThat oh. I'm looking for something to put on a snowblower. My husband died in 21' and local thieves (I never hear them get hear but I hear them leave on snow machines or 4 wheelers depending on the weather) have been stealing things from me ever since he died. They have come in my house 2x but the dogs ran them out. Anyway the only thing they haven't stolen is the snowblower. I figure when that's gone they will come in the house even if they need to kill the dogs (and maybe me and my 2 grandkids) to do it. The police won't help me unless I gather enough evidence to prove who is doing it. If I have a camera on it that saves the pics online and a tracking device I think that should be enough. We are in a remote area and there is no cell phone coverage where the people I believe are the thieves live. Could you recommend a camera?
@timothylynch6074Ай бұрын
@@1coketogo554I'd recommend blink cameras for your home and a gun for defense. These sound like pretty brazen thieves. I would definitely up your security. See if there's any retired military near you, I'm sure they wouldn't mind checking on you guys every now and then. My wife and I checked on our neighbor once a week after her son passed.

Can a GPS trackie be hidden in a Hoverboard? Trying to start a business renting Hoverboards. Which one would be the best to buy GPS tracker or wifi? 8:16
@TrackThisNThat2 ай бұрын
You'll have to do your own testing to make sure it can get a GPS and cellular connection when hidden. I would proubally hardwire it the hoverboard so you don't have to worry about charging them all the time.

They say worldwide coverage of 190 countries, but you definitely want to contact them directly to make sure your area is covered.

Hello my wife has an expensive purse she wants a small gps cellular tracker . Which tracker is best for this.
@isaacmettle4 ай бұрын
I would get one that has a subscription that’s small. There air tag and blue tooth are effective as long as another iPhone or something of the same type is available. Cellular can track ANYWHERE(except in a tunnel)

To help you all out . But not take 20 minutes. I bought a tracki last year. This thing is garbage. It would tell me my boat was at my house and when it started moving. But 2 miles from my house it lost it every time. I live in Raleigh Nc.

@@TrackThisNThat this video is way too long for the amount of info you put into it. nobody wants to watch a 20 min video. i just did and i seirously regret it. you could've condensed the important info into less than 5 minutes easily. I don't mean to be rude, I say this so you can get honest feedback about what your viewers like so your channel can prosper. Good luck and thank you for the info.
