Tracking a BIG but OLD Maine Buck Track In Snow & Catching Up To The Buck | Allagash Big Woods Bucks

I found an old but BIG buck track during the late morning. Even though it was old I decided to take it because I figured I had a chance to catch up to the buck even though it was old. It was the last week of muzzleloader season in the Allagash so I had a feeling the buck wouldn't be moving too much.
I caught up to the buck in only a few hours.

Where I hunt in Pennsylvania the big boys head to the swampy areas... Slows me down but occasionally they screw up.

Nice day good tracking, tough day but persistent . I notice everything because I've been there done that but I noticed you walking with you gun hammer cocked, do you have another safety on that gun ? I realize it's hard to shoot quick when you have a hammer gun.

Slow down, you move too Fast ! Kicking them out of their beds is a waste of your time... Looking down to find a track , but look up , look around, they love to watch and see what you are . When they know they Blow as you say .... Slow Down... What's your hurry ??
