congrats, great hunt like I use to do in early 90's here in Quebec. My first deer was a 8 points. It was the last day of the rifle season, it snowed 3 inches the evening before. I track him with my father and the deer did his 'loop around you' little dance but my father knew that. One was tracking him, the other did a large detour to get him, with the wind in the hunter favor. It took us 2 hours. As I was walking with wind in my face, my father push him toward me. I heard a "tomp tomp tomp" noise. I look at my right and he appears, running toward me at 150 feet away. I drop him with a neck shot with my 308. This was my best hunt ever.
