What you didn’t show is the wiring because I don’t understand how the mpc is going thru the Apollo then into pro tools

bro how would i do this from the live 2 unto the apollo twin x? i use luna. would i need a midi usb cable to my mac pro? and use the outs on the mpc to the mic line 1 and 2 on apollo??
@dblackinf Жыл бұрын
Yes, you’d use any type of USB to 5 pin din MIDI and you’ll use the mic/line inputs on your Apollo.

@@dblackinf thanks a ton family! I will figure it out from there. Im sure its a time clock setting in Luna. Would I only be able to do a track at a time?

Unison only really works on xlr for uad.. trs doesnt match the impedance. My buddy runs it thru the xlr and hits the pad and swears by it but it isnt mentioned in the manual. Probably so people dont hit their phantom power on accident

Nice one, but you missed out how you set of your tracks on protools-Instruments, midi or just audio tracks?

Did you run physical audio cables into your apollo or your doing the usb digitial routing stuff.Me personally I want to use my X for whats it’s for,it just sounds better when you run your audio out of the outputs on the back of the Mpc into whatever way your going into your DAW. Dope video tutorial by the way…
