Overview and demo of the Lutris / Wine configuration + in-game graphics settings of Trackmania 2020. OS: Linux Pop!_OS 20.04 LTS Resolution: 1920x1080 Kernel: 5.13.0-7620-generic CPU: Intel i7-4790K (8) @ 4.400GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Additionally, you can disable in Ubisoft connect in-game overlay + set graphical settings to low for event better fps.

I would personally recommend putting all the settings to minimum but the shaders on veryhigh for easier speedslides but bearable performance

I have tested this but with my video card, fps drops significantly when i set shaders to very high, so i had to restore original settings from this video.

How to install Trackmania 2020 on Linux: 1. Install Lutris 2. Search for Trackmania 2020 in Lutris - Sources - Lutris - Community installers 3. Proceed with installation as instructed (Lutrius will install Ubisoft connect and then after login to Ubisoft connect, Trackmania installation will be started) 4. Adjust configuration as per video in case of issues.

I tried this but it opens Ubisoft Connect and asks me for a CD Key or activation code, but i dont know where to find it

I have same settings as you in the video and i get 7 FPS in game

@@Logilype do you have Nvidia driver installed and enabled / used? Which distro are you using?

@@mmuzdeka I am using Arch with KDE Plasma and Nvidia proprietary driver 470xx as my GPU is not supported anymore
