Mavis Has Had Six Different Horn Sounds Over The Years: • In The Third Series, She Received A Two-Toned Horn Similar To BoCo, But Some Steps Higher-Pitched. • In The Fourth Series, She Had The Same Horn Sound As Class 40. • In The Sixth Series, She Had Derek’s Horn Sound, Which Is Also Salty’s Horn As Well. • In The Seventh Series, She Had Daisy’s Original Horn Sound From The Second Series. • In Calling All Engines To The Sixteenth Series Episode, Thomas And The Sounds of Sodor, As Well As Some Games And Merchandise, She Gained A New Horn Sound, Which Can Be Heard In Various Pieces of Other Media; Such As Teachmobile Videos And The Starfall Letter T Alphabet Sound Phonics, As It Was Used For Some Taxis, Albeit In Higher Pitches. • In The Fifteenth Series Onwards, She Gained A New Horn Sound, Which Is The Same One Diesel Used From Misty Island Rescue To The Fourteenth Series And Some Merchandising Games. In Fact, Their Horn Sounds Are Sourced From The Canadian Nathan K3L Diesel Locomotive, Which Can Be Heard In Various Pieces of Other Media; Such As Chuggington, The Tom And Jerry Show Episode, Road Trippin, Most Trains Simulator Games Such As 2009, The Caillou Episode, Next Stop Fun, The Bluey Episode, Trains And The 2008 Disney Movie, Bolt. It Was Used For One of The American Diesels From Big World! Big Adventures.

Mavis looks really good. I remember getting Mavis for Christmas 2016, but unfortunately, the screw on the middle wheel is rusty. I have tried so many things, like using my screw driver and opening the shell with so much fore, but it was no use, so she was destroyed, but in Christmas 2018 I finally got another Mavis and it was worth it but the motor however made her sluggish because of the hair inside her many some day I will have to get the hit toys version just for the chassis switch. But overall, Mavis is a really nice Trackmaster model.
