@MarcusRogers , I've seen segments of you on other platforms but finally got a chance to see a full video. I enjoyed your take on Christianity. Christians must set the standards, not the world. Our people need to be Christians 1st and about our culture business afterward. With that mindset, we'll vote on kingdom matters instead of parties. Influential people living in sin will not respond well to your messages, but keep up the good fight.

During the discussion of Holy Spirit, I remember when I tried to analyze whether I could speak in tongues, I prayed and asked God to allow me to speak in tongues. I continued to seek God to being filled with Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. As I continued to seek and go to the altar, I wanted to experience it in reality not trickery or forced. I finally surrendered to God on the altar, and I was overcomed by the presence and I heard tongues coming out of my mouth. I challenge anyone to seek God in your prayer closet and allow God infill you with the gift of tongues. Paul said we should seek to prophecy.

He listened to respond and show his “receipts” instead of to grow. Everyone isn’t your enemy, some people are genuinely trying to feed you. Also why would someone want to be on this “Christian Rap list” so bad if they feel like everyone on it is so evil? If someone wanted to be in that “click” so bad then do what it is that you feel they’re doing to get their positions, but if that’s not the light that you want to be known as then why does it matter so much?

Because if you don’t get into a Biblical sound church, and seem wise counsel and Discipleship after you get saved, your healing and deliverance will be stifled and slowed down unnecessarily and your walk and witness may take a hit. JHP has been walking heavy in the LORD for quite some time and her content is all about Sanctification, so, again Marcus, we love you brother but YOUR FOCUS Should be on Allowing ABBA to heal those wounds of rejection, abandonment, and identity, LORD DO IT, In JESUS NAME.

But he has to consider the fact that they still have an on going fight the same way that the pride thing for him is his on going fight showing up as anger. And its rooted in rejection. I honestly pray his strength in the Lord to over come it. It will help him be able to hear what encouragement is really being given to him here. But over all I truly believe he Loves the lord. When Mr. Rogers talks about the Trinity, I hear someone who makes his arguments based on the fact that many people don't study the Word. It's sad that so many Trinity believing Christians give so much credence to people who don't know what they believe themselves - and who think they have the market cornered on God so much so that they can question others who have sound faith and don't agree with them. That is dangerous. Marcus demonstrates everything (ex. he's prideful, doesn't want to admit when he is wrong, etc.) he says he is here to correct. We (humans in general) are easy prey, and many people with large platforms know this. They know how to say enough of the right things to reel people into chaotic thinking. But our God is a God of order. And I pray that God will show Marcus his errored approach so that he can actually start to do what he says he is purposed to do.

That’s what he’s talking about. People hear what they want to hear. He admitted that he was prideful and he even said if you want to call him a Trinitarian go ahead. Did you miss that part? He’s saying that the word Trinity is not in the Bible but so many people will say if you don’t say “Trinity” you’re not a believer. That’s not Bible and that’s religion. That’s his point.
@iamsharondawebb9393Күн бұрын
He is sitting with people who are asking him questions that he can not or will not just straight up answer. So he responds with, 'people believe what they want to believe' when they don't agree with him. He still isn't clear about what he believes about the Godhead. He is shaky with prophesies, and then there is the recent Daystar fiasco he wrestled himself into. I see why he says he likes Tiphany Montgomery - they seem to be alike in many ways. He is all over the place and presents himself as if he can speak to another person's heart and intentions. We should be accountable - but I rarely see him listening to his contemporaries. Today was the first time I've ever seen him listen for as long as he did. But I can count on him yelling at people. He calls out what he wants to call out - but then he interrupts people when they call him out and he rarely admits when he is wrong. Accountability is a 2 way street and relies heavily on relationship. He is clearly one sided in his approach and where is the relationship value in that? It's clear that you like/agree with what he is saying/doing and I don't. I've learned that sometimes, it's just best to disagree and quietly move on....like I'm going to do with this post now. Be blessed!

I listened to the whole thing... it was good. Im glad he was able to give clarity on some things. Especially the things that i assumed by what was previously said. That's gives you a chance to judge a person righteously.

I admire your honesty, your passion, and boldness. I might not agree with everything you say and the way you go about doing things. I liked that this was a civilized disagreement. Even if everything wasn't understood and people didn't agree, atleast their was an attempt and effort. And in the end everyone was able to accept each other's differences.

Hey everyone. Brothers thank you for being courageous and bold in shedding light and truth face to face with Marcus. I can see he has a difficult time seeing what needs to burn off, as I have the same difficulty too. The reality of this all, is Marcus wife, help met, needs to be the one shedding light and helping Marcus see where he is missing the mark. It’s going to be received better from his partner. How do I know? Because my husband was a lot like Marcus in the aspect of being harsh and defensive. God used me to deliver the truth. ❤ Therefore, let’s pray for Jasmine to be used to help her husband because as a wife it’s hard to tell your prideful husband about the error of his ways.

One of the GREATEST GIFTS that are needed in the BODY OF CHRIST at this time is DISCERNMENT. Too many of GOD'S people are being MISLED and are sitting under ministries (including KZbin) that they need to FLEE from.

This was a really good conversation. I hope that Marcus takes the things that you all said. I hope that his main focus becomes solely the defense of the gospel and not himself. I pray for each of us that we will look at ourselves and let God search our hearts.

I hope the ones that calls him prideful ain’t prideful. Because pride is a sneaky demon. Most people don’t know they are walking in pride. You are accountable for every word that comes out your mouth.

Let’s let the truth speak. Go to Apostasy Files channel or look up that channel with Marcus Rogers in the search and see the receipts on Marcus. Not a long video but plenty of evidence. Go see evidence of why he really was removed from the Army, what he did to his ex who came with receipts, and see the patterns that still follow him today. He is not as transparent as he fronts.

There's an important distinction in Acts 19 that's being missed. These people were disciples of John the Baptist. They didn't even know who Jesus was! And THAT'S why they hadn't received the Holy Spirit yet. Acts 19:2-4 And he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” They said, “Into John’s baptism.” And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”

I’m so tired of hearing “I’m from Chicago”😡 It’s so interesting that the one person who he described as being a “nerd” represents the true essence of what being from Chicago really means (a quiet and bold confidence that comes without having to say a word) Walking around saying you’re “hard”, “tough”, “standing on business”, etc trying to prove it to yourself.

I think because youre man you can do it @Marcusrogers but this is something i had to learn last year When youre passionate, you cannot be compassionte. "But the wisdom from above is FIRST OF ALL pure, then gentle, without partiality WILLING TO YEILD and full of good fruits..." -James 3:17. You will neber be unimpeachable unless you abide by the word. Meditating on this scripture helped me to be willing to yeild 💛 God bless you brother

Marcus Rogers does pick fights. It's his preference that Jackie Hill Perry dresses masculine not fact. I don't think she dresses masculine. Some things are not worth saying or bringing up. Again to me Marcus Rogers picks fights and that's why people don't want to deal with him.

So... The Marcus dude, I feel like he may have good intentions but he's taking the focus off the gospel and shining it on his feelings. Unless he's aware of people that are intentionally attempting to lead God's children astray, I think he should stop focusing on ppl (good or bad) and keep his focus on making people aware of the gospels today relevance

I think we should be careful in speaking out the prophecies willy nilly. It comes off as people validating their relationship with God. However when your prophecy is not fulfilled, you were supposed to be deemed as a false prophet according to scripture.

Can we please not waste time on self centered individuals. Marcus is not how the year should’ve been kicked off. We still didn’t hear his testimony, just who he had on his MySpace account ten years ago. Nothing about this was productive. Everyone gave him their undivided attention, as soon as another man speaks at the table he’s in his phone. Eagles don’t drop down to eat with chickens. In the words of Marcus “ I don’t mean no disrespect “

I watched some of the episode and I think the brother speaking @ 12:00 timestamp stated how I’ve been feeling because I, too, have an issue with anyone using their platform to call out other peoples sin especially towards those within the household of faith. It is not edifying nor unifying and at times slanderous. I want to shout back to those doing this - what are you struggling with? Nobody is perfect and no, we shouldn’t use that as an excuse to continue in behavior that is not of God but as a pastor once shared “believers are not sinless but in Christ we are sinning less”. And that is because of God’s grace and mercy! Jesus is the only measuring stick!! Period. Lift HIM up, read and study the Bible. Jesus will do the necessary sanctification process for a daughter and son only HE knows fully & intimately anyway.

Think it’s more of a personality issue and he is married to the the ways of coming from Chicago and operate in that manner. Very binary way of being. He is so alpha and argumentative, defensive. Also think he wants to be bigger and more known

I listen to Marcus and sometimes pride does get in the way. But I respect him for the fact that he stands on business. It's time for the church especially the black church to be real. Let's not take God's grace for granted. People are leaving the church because the church is living and embracing worldly concepts. God is holy and we got to raise the standard and stand up for holiness. Yes, pray for those that are struggling and restore them to the faith if possible. Speak the truth in love and let the Holy Spirit do the rest. But if they're habitually embracing the double standards and rejecting the truth expose it. There will be a great falling away. And God is separating the wheat from the tares. We need to experience a true move of God. We're living on borrowed time. It's time to stop compromising and pretending.

he keep calling the same people name 😂, i want to believe it’s about being a person of integrity. but i can’t stay in agreement with what he says for more than 2 minutes, because he won’t own up to the error in his approach. who is holding Marcus accountable????? notice how he didn’t mention that Preston did apologize and folks have taken breaks from social media. and he’s still up here delving into the argumentive nature of these topics. where is the rest from this discourse to seek the Lords voice??

I believe the gift is the Holy Spirit and what is listed in Romans and 1 Corinthians is a sampling (not exhaustive) of the many ways He works through any given believer. We are to eagerly desire these "gifts" from the gift of the Holy Spirit to be used by God at any given moment with whatever is required for that situation.

Matching energy is not of God. Where you’re from and responding and all of that doesn’t represent Christ and isn’t fruit of the Spirit. You can be angry and sin not. Marcus is a bit prideful. I don’t agree with everything these guys say. However, they were right in rebuking his snappy unfruitful responses. If I were Marcus I’d just stay in my lane. Pray for them, keep it moving. He hit the nail dead on the head when he said, he’s got to defend himself. Marcus is really hurt. He feels used because he was cool with them, but they fell off. I feel him on being real believers but at the same he gives me a childish vibe. Praying for him and all these artists.

Facts over opinions, but Truth shall rein over all in the end. I believe the Holy Spirit just gave me that. The scripture reference: 1 Corinthians 13 9-10: (read the whole chapter for context), but what I'm hearing from the Holy Spirit is that when we were children, we spoke childishly. We all had little knowledge that guided our opinions about who Christ is. But as we grew outside our immediate families, communities, circles, and clicks, we matured as believers and put away flesh and childish behaviors. Great talk, and thank you Holy Spirit, in Jesus name. btw, I'm 44 years in the kingdom with a son who's 43 and a daughter who's 41, so I've always loved your generation. Much ❤ keep uo the good work in the Spirit to grow and mature the kingdom.

Trackstarz, thank you guys for posting this. In the live, I called mans a clout chaser. I'll apologize for my statement. I highly disagree with Marcus R and still thinks he could handle things a lot better than how he's been doing. That being said, he made some good points and I appreciate him sharing his perspective. It's also dope that you tried to give him some advice in love. Thank you again and I learned a lot from this content.

I find it strange how people always say that Marcus is “this and that” in the comments, but don’t have the opinion for other pastors, apologist, and any other Christian with a platform. I’ve been watching brother Marcus ever since Facebook days and he has came a long way. I don’t always agree with him and sometimes I do have to take a break from his content because he would always express his hurt, however, let’s not ignore the fact that people do disrespect him. Most recent, Preston was disrespectful in the sense that he was speaking to Marcus as if he was trying to disciple him as if he is not a pastor and a Christian with a platform; but because Preston voice was not loud or whatever, he did not receive push back and I also watch the Perry’s and love their content. As far as doctrine goes, something I learned is that Christians will always disagree with somebody’s doctrine no matter how educated or not. I don’t think Marcus deserve to be put in the light as a false teacher and as Ruslan stated, not even Christian because he said Marcus is not his brother in Christ. It’s okay to disagree with people but if Christians with platform is going to be courteous with Tim Ross(the man who said the Holy Spirit told him to curse), then they and anyone else need to check their discernment or even, sense of character. Great Interview! Brothers, yall did a great job interviewing with Marcus because you guys literally spoke to understand and give him advice.

Being straightforward does not mean you negate respect and humility. Marcus came off as extremely defensive and seemed more concerned with defending self instead of receiving the admonition from the brethren. Many people hide behind I’m just being “real” Nah, you’re being prideful because you feel you dead to right. The Lord could have easily defended himself against the false accusations, but he didn’t. Why? BECAUSE he knew WHO he was and is and the purpose in which he came. The world is watching brothers and sisters and if we keep going with this carnal stuff like offense , as salt that lost its flavor so have we lost our usefulness

Hope ya'll are ok, but there's been so much going on that Marcus Rogers q's haven't rly been on my mind. What is a heavenly language? Sean, what did u experience speaking in tongues? Does it mean a foreign language? Also, can we group together against starting more pointless wars? Can we keep libraries+renewable energy? Don't get y a lot of the church is opposed to those things?
