This is absolute inspiration to me. I live half way across the world in Kenya East Africa and am an upcoming wildlife researcher/conservationist. She's doing exactly what i aspire to do in my home country; "not worrying at home doing nothing about climate change and its effects... But to actively learn and share the ways of mitigating these challenges in our natural world, at the same time enjoying my work while at it."... awesome documentary!! Big up!!❤❤❤

Well,.. there is your solution to the problem the amazon rainforest currently faces. Here in beautiful Austria many of the private people and wood industries re-plant the whole area with new trees after it was cut down for firewood or industrial purposes. No matter how much money is donated to organisations, in the end it always depends on the actions of the local population. Growing a tree from a seed does not require money,.. only water and patience.

I appreciate the intent of making this video to give us an insight on how to develop sustainabily....but for her to say that “ crocs are absolutely of no use to us , but we still save them “, shows her absolute lack of research and seriousness. Every animal is absolutely important and necessary for our environment and for the planet . Take one out of the equation ( except man of course , the destructive useless force) , and watch the planet crumble . The impact may take a while , but it sure will happen . This ignorant statement of hers is dangerous , esp for someone who supposedly is so conscious of the environment, and thus this rendered her video totally frivolous for me.

I find it interesting that the creator of this video is an eco warrior talking about how we are ruining this planet, meanwhile she flies here on a wide body commercial aircraft, moves into a modern home in Costa Rica with all the modern conveniences including a nice swimming pool, a modern kitchen, refrigerator and rides or drives in a diesel pickup truck! I live in Costa Rica as I write this, I always find it interesting that folks claim to be fighting for the planet are doing exactly what they claim is destroying our planet! I suggest you move yourself and your family into a typical Tico house, minus the A/C, minus the swimming pool and modern conveniences and then live a sustainable life yourself before telling the rest of us how bad we are. I'm not trying to be mean but the hypocrisy is obvious.

Nicaragua could be sm better if it wasn’t for all these decades of political issues it’s basically has all the same things as Costa Rica or even more potencial cause it’s bigger and it has the 2 largest lakes in the region and more different ecosystems like the Caribbean pine forest that Costa Rica doesn’t have cause it’s too narrow

This is not about size but richness and biodiversity, numbers talk.
@arislopes19243 жыл бұрын
@@jago-proud3110 you realize the more space the more biodiversity the region could have, Nicaragua and Costa Rica basically have the exact same flora and fauna. Costa Rica lacks a mountain pine forest and a savanna Caribbean pine forest. A biome found in other places in Central America including Nicaragua
@jago-proud31103 жыл бұрын
Not necessarily, Costa Rica is the living example of that having a very small part of the planet it has 5 percent of all its species, do you see? What you say lacks of reality, if your argument was right the Sahara would have thousands of different species but it doesn't, Costa Rica is smaller than Nicaragua and we do have more species in more protected areas than Naicargua, 25 percent of our territory is protected the only country in the world doing that, sorry but you gotta accept it, Nicaragua is beautiful but Costa Rica is more 🙂 pura vida! Enjoy your country be humble y deja la envidia 😎
@arislopes19243 жыл бұрын
@@jago-proud3110 Nicaragua could be more diverse than Costa rice if most of the land wasn’t used for agriculture or wasn’t part of the dry belt on the pacific of Central America, only northwestern Costa Rica is part of the dry belt. All of western Nicaragua is which pushes agriculture to the east where the mountains and rainforest is. Nicaragua is home to the LARGEST rainforest in Central America and the 2nd largest and most DIVERSE after the Amazon. Located in northeastern Nicaragua along the border with honduras. Nicaragua also has way more volcanoes and more different types than Costa Rica, it also has the 2 largest lakes in Central America. The land in Nicaragua has more biodiversity potencial than Costa Rica. Costa Rica just has more because it has way more protected areas cause they basically rely on tourism for their economy unlike Nicaragua that relies on agriculture for its economy.
