Dude, antithesis means the direct opposite, NOT, the same.....

He said Lambos to him always seemed a bit ' in yer face and show offy - and this Bright orange, with bright orange interior is the antithesis of that'. Which it so obviously isn't. It fits exactly with his idea of Lambos as ridiculous and attention grabbing....so it's NOT the antithesis. It IS the same. So Sam DID use antithesis incorrectly.
