I've been wanting to add some lights onto my old 1941 Ford 9N. You did a excellent job in explaining this.Very helpful. Thank you for making this video😀👍

I like your idea of the angle iron between the 2 light brackets. I'm considering adding an implement LED light circuit to the harness coming from the light switch in the dash so whenever I have the front lights on, I have the ability to activate the implement light via a second switch. I chose the dash light switch as the power source so that I don't accidentally leave the light on killing the battery. I'm also considering placing a small toolbox onto that angle iron to keep me losing my implement pins (which I'm doing constantly). I'm placing the flasher and it's switch under the dash as well. This is a good idea.

The wire was 14 gauged. Don't recall what the fuse size was. Thanks for watching!

The two leads you talked about are not for each side of the lens, but instead one for a parking lamp being dimmer, and the turn signal the brighter filament

I'm wiring headlights into my tractor, they also have 3 wires, red yellow and black, do I just put the red and yellow together the way you put 2 wires together and ground the black? I was expecting a 2 wire set up, not 3
@thehandyoutdoorsman9014 Жыл бұрын
My guess would be to connect the black to negative and combine the red and yellow as you stated to positive, I had to run a separate wire for the ground

Water tight? Good idea I was wondering how I was going to route my wiring to get 2 tail lights.

You could grab a 537 flasher and make them alternate
@thehandyoutdoorsman90144 жыл бұрын
Have not heard of this one, will have to pick one up and try it. Thanks for the tip!

@@thehandyoutdoorsman9014 It would look like this.. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmOnan9si72Egc0 you can still find the 537's on ebay and such..
Have you broken off the lights yet? Those particular lights are junk. They are bright and very visible, but plastic frames on them snap off easily, especially when its cold outside. You have spend a lot more, but look for lights that have a metal framework. They will last a lot longer......
@thehandyoutdoorsman9014 Жыл бұрын
Been 4 years and have not had one break yet, agreed the metal would be more durable but it also depends on placement.
