Why do they run rears that look almost like slicks? Wouldn't deeper tread provide more traction?

Weve seen the turbine mods win a bunch this year on the regional side of things. Not sure how they compare power wise on the champions tour national level side of things though but on this night blowers dominated. And mav tv layed down a whopper of a pass!! Thanks for watching! Appreciate it!

There is no throttle feather, not much drivability. Very hard to put power to the ground with a turbine setup in big mods. 1 engine mod classes is alot easier to get that smaller power number to the ground

No transmission. Each engine has a centrifical clutch then direct drive to the rear end.

So can someone enlighten me on the cost of one of these Monsters. By my count, most of them run 4 or more engines I'm guessing they are worth $50k+ a piece. The chassis and wheels another $50k. Then the transportation Truck and trailer $100k. So around $350k to have more fun than a Pig in Sh!t 🙂🙂🙂 I'd rather have one of these than a Lamborghini! 😃
