Love your video we are taking this excursion in 2 weeks! Hopefully ours doesn’t get canceled! If it does we will try next cruise to Alaska! How cold was it!

How exciting!! It wasn’t that cold until it started raining on us pretty heavy. We were soaked and cold to the bone. I actually showered right when we got back to try and warm up again. The rain and the wind made it freezing but we chose to be outside instead of inside on the boat. We didn’t want to miss the sights and it was SO worth it! Have an amazing time and let us know your thoughts when you come back!

I am booked on that same cruise (Carnival Miracle) that you took out of SF. I am doing that excursion for Sunday, Sept 1. Cost was $229.99. I booked it right away and felt that if I did no other excursion I wanted to do this one. Looking forward to it. Don H Ocala Fl

You are going to love it! The wildlife was amazing as well. I forgot to mention in the video but we saw a whale, a bear, many seals, bald eagles and so much more!

You can’t go wrong with either one but if I had to pick one it would be Tracy Arm.

On heading on this cruise in May and the times they are offering in 1 or 4 for the Tracy arm forge do you have a suggestion on the best time in your opinion?

I would say 1pm, our options were 8am and 10am. The early one got cancelled because the conditions weren't good. Luckily we were still able to go. This tour is still one of our favorites ever, have the best time!

Keep checking before the cruise and even once in board. They typically have 2 times to go and I’m sure they will have last minute cancellations. Good luck!!

@ I am considering doing this excursion, but it is expensive. Do you know an excursion that allows you to hike the Mendenhall Glacier without taking a helicopter ride?

What time did you do ? They are offfeei f 730 am and 1030 am ? Which would you suggest !?

We went at 10:30 and it worked really well. We feel the later time slot is better because it gives the morning fog a chance to lift. Hope this helps!

Im afraid of booking this and it gets windy or rainy and my wife says "Why did you book this, its too cold, we shouldve stayed on the ship...etc" Is it worth risking that kind of reaction for 460.00?

I would like 1000% book this still. Worst case scenario if it is cold and rainy they have indoor space on both top and bottom decks that is heated with free coffee. Hope this helps!
