@@yowhatsmyname The organization in Houston did not fail him. He had Yao Ming who was a 5x all nba Center. Yao Ming put up 25/10 in the playoffs against Utah in 07. It was TMac's fault they lost that series by not being able to make a shot in Utah. He had good pieces in Shane Battier and Rafer Alston and very good coaches in Van Gundy and Adelman. The team won in the playoffs the next year without him after adding Artest. It is not the organizations fault that TMac got hurt. He failed them by not winning in the first round in 2005 and especially 07 when if he played at a star level they win.

Bo Smith they all for sure would have had better careers though. They got hurt right as they were at their peaks or reaching it. Imagine Steph getting a career ending injury right after he broke the record for threes and was never the same after. That’s what happened to all three of them. You wouldn’t talk about Steph being one of the best point guards ever anymore. Same with Derrick rose, imagine drose if drose never got hurt. He probabaly has it worse than those three because he was younger
