One of the things I love about a Tracy Morgan interview, is that you can never tell if he is going somewhere with his comments. Sometimes there's an unexpected punchline, and other times his words just hang in the air. And the interviewer never seems sure either. It makes his interviews that much funnier, imo.

I went through SLC’s airport security a few months before 9/11. Unfortunately I was 5 and don’t remember anything besides crying on a plane lol.

It's pretty wild for those of us that can remember pre 9/11 security! We kept our shoes and coats on and walked through a metal detector I'm not even sure actually worked 🤣. No ticket or ID checks or anything, you could walk straight up to the gate and wait for your loved ones getting off the plane. There was no such thing as arriving 2 hours before boarding time either, you could get to the airport 5 minutes before your flight and be okay.
