I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I think its hilarious but there's something about the way he talks, his mannerisms, it's like he's from another time. He doesn't sound current, I think he's on to something, its all a gag, it's his new thing, its as if he is purposely sounding like he's not connected to this current world or time in history but from another time in the past. I found it brilliant. In no way am I dissin' Tracy Morgan. I find it astounding that he can stay in character for so long, you almost think he's about to break from character but he remains in it doing his comedic gag. Its all a gag. Its all character acting, he's in character the whole time, like he's doing a skit. The real Tracy Morgan never shows up, he's not there, it's a comedian playing a character. Its Brilliant. Maybe you didn't catch that he's in character. He's playing a person who's sort of from another time. Listen to his words. The words. His way he responds. Try to imagine him doing this same interview in the 1990's But lets say with idk lets say with David Letterman or Jay Leno from the 1990's? What he's saying in this video is what he'd be saying in an 1990's interview, even the first joke about blacks having only 2 holidays the 1st and the 15th, that joke is totally from the 1990's. And about thanksgiving and when blacks pop open that Smirnoff its goin' down. Who the hell says "its goin' down" anymore omg that totally 1990's talk and "popin' open that Smirnoff" that Smirnoff joke itself is totally a 1990's joke. His entire gig is from the 1990's except for the part where he says he's the whistleblower because no one in the 1990's would even know what he means. But that was hilarious. Now Jimmy is in on the gag, when Jimmy brings up the part about the government. That was Jimmy playing a part in Tracy's act, his gag, it's all character acting. But for the most part he is behaving like he's from the 1990's not from 2019. Like the part about when blacks get together on holidays there's always two uncles gonna go at it like "we about to move some furniture up in here" I ain't heard that phrase "moving furniture" since the 1990's. Its brilliant. The entire time I was watching it was asking myself is this a current video? It feels like I just time traveled to the 1990's. I love it. Craziest thing I ever heard. Tracy Morgan is brilliant. When Jimmy ask him if he has family over the Holiday to celebrate and Tracy says NO! Real bold like and watch Jimmys face, Jimmy tries to stay in character and not ruin the master at work. Jimmy knows Tracy is in character, watch Jimmys mouth how he wants to laugh but straitens up and bites down on his tongue (and old truck that actors do to stay in character, bite down on their tongue which Jimmy does so he doesn't ruin the gag or break Tracy out of character. Tracy goes on to talk about how everyone's not rich so they can't shop at Wal-Mart as if Wal-Mart is some expensive store or something haha, Tracy is implying that Wal-Mart is a treat for black folk and says "not everyone can get hit with a Wal-Mart truck so you give a Bobs Discount Furniture gift" Then he looks at the camera like he's Mr Roper from Threes Company and freezes. He tries so hard but breaks out of character for a sec and smiles. You know how Mr Roper would look into the camera and smile after telling a joke about his wife Helen? Play it back and watch again, it's all old school comedy. Superb acting. You might not see it at first but this type of acting is taught in comedy classes but Morgan's does it so good. The guys a master. Its all totally BS. Morgan ain't poor. I'm telling you, the person we see its Tracy Morgan acting. The whole time. From start to finish. When he starts talking about Black Friday and How he's gonna look at God when he gets to heaven because he lost his life over the price being slashed over a 26 inch Zenith. Omg I was rolling on the floor. Zenith??? My grandma worked at Zenith and that was years ago. Zenith was the very last U.S company electronics company who held out as long as they could in the U.S.A but they couldn't compete and finally had to move out of the U.S.A and that occured in the 1990's. I'm not ever sure if Zenith exist anymore? Its like Tracy is from another time or doesn't realize its 2019. That was funny. I'm telling you he could have done the same act in the 1990's on Letterman or Jay Leno. I almost starting wondering if maybe he got hit in the head and thinks he's still living in the 1990's. Funny stuff. Funny and crazy weird. I love it. One of the more comical things I've seen in a long time. Well, since the 1990's I guess. We need to MAKE COMEDY GREAT AGAIN! When Americans make racist claims about the UK and racial division its a fairly alien concept to me. Something we have resigned to the history books and a small ignorant extremist section of society.
