I remember my mom playing this song all the time in the '90s when I was a kid. I never paid attention to words until recently. Now I realize why he loved this song. She left my drunk, abusive father in the middle of the night and drove across the country to raise two children alone. We were 2 and 3 years old. I never looked back. I love you mom, you made the best decision for you and your children.

Sorry. Forgive me. I love you. I always thought tracy was singing “...is all that you CAN say...”. I loved the song with the hope that one day i’d hear these words from my mum. When i learned tracy was singing “CAN’T”, wow!...never has such a small difference made such a big difference. ‘Daddy’s gone’ by glasvegas. A lesser known masterpiece from my city. ‘Mother’ by lennon is another of my favourites because it cover both parent’s perfectly. That musicians can express themselves, sometimes as if telling my story, with such feeling is very healing. Thank you for the music. Keep it coming.

Her fans know that the self-titled album she released was a masterpiece without a single bad song on it. Despite the fact that she declined in "albums" quality later and couldn't match the first one, still she deserves to be remembered for the great job she did on that album.
